Episode #11 - June 8, 2021
Lacy Nelson Vs. Kaito Hirano
- The show started off with a big pop as Lacy Nelson was the first one out through the curtain. The fans gave her a big cheer on her way down for her match. As she hit the ring, streamers went flying from the crowd as she posed. Hirano was joined with Jason Evans on stage before Evans left to the back.
- The match started off at a quick pace as Hirano wanted to strike fast and furious with hard kicks to the legs of Nelson. Hirano hit a spinning backfist to the side of the head of Nelson.
- Nelson backed herself into one of the corners and Hirano charged with a big corner clothesline. He then caught her with a corner enziguri that staggered her forward. Hirano went to the top rope and looked for a crossbody and connected into a cover for two.
- Nelson pulled herself up and had to duck a spinning heel kick aimed at her head. She grabbed Hirano from behind and hit a German suplex. She rolled up and pulled him into position and hit the Deadline (Tiger Driver ‘98) and covered for two.
- Nelson was up and looked for a superkick but Hirano grabbed her foot and spun her around. She came all the way around and dropped him with an ace cutter.
- Nelson went to the second rope and came off it with an elbow drop. She went for a cover but Hirano kicked out at two.
- Hirano started to battle back with strikes and a cig kick to the leg of Nelson. He looked for a dragon suplex but she blocked it. Nelson looked for a double underhook powerbomb but Hirano countered into a headscissors takedown. Once they were both up, Hirano connected with the Saigo no Jōsha [Last Ride] (Fisherman Driver). He thought he had the three count when he covered but Nelson was able to kick out.
- Hirano measured Nelson up and lifted her for the Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick) but she struggled off his shoulders and to the mat. She caught him with a big superkick! Nelson was fired up as she hit a second superkick and Hirano was out. She pulled him up and then rocked him with the Headline (Eat Defeat) and covered for the win.
WINNER: Lacy Nelson via pinfall @ 17:43
Nelson celebrated after the match before making her way to the back.
Harper Blake Vs. Meg Coleman
- Coleman was set to face off against Harper Blake in the next match but Sara Logan came out to let us know that Harper Blake was not in attendance tonight due to a personal matter. Kayla Taylor was assigned the match instead and she came out clearly not 100%
- Taylor came out and gave it her all and got a few quick takedowns in on Coleman.
- Coleman was fired up and out for blood in the match. Taylor was rocked with the Headache (Running Knee to the face). She tried to get back to her feet and was quickly taken down with the Superwoman Punch. Coleman covered and picked up a pinfall.
WINNER: Meg Coleman via pinfall @ 6:22
Be Dishonorable
The Angle: Kaito Hirano and Jason Evans were walking backstage and they saw AJ Jenkynx sitting by himself. He was sitting in catering as the two men approached him. Hirano said a few things to Evans before Evans talked to Jenkynx. Evans told Jenkynx that it was clear he was being overlooked when it came to Empire Wrestling and that’s exactly what Dishonor is about. Hirano started Dishonor to make sure no one was overlooked. Evans gave Jenkynx an offer to join them before the two left him to think about it.
TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Social Elite (c) Vs. The 323
- This match was announced before we cut to the backstage area where both Page and Kash were with trainers talking about not being fit for the match. Sara Logan came into the room and asked what was the issue. Kash and Page refused to answer and said they had “doctors notes” for both of them from competing tonight.
- The 323 stormed into the room but was quickly pulled away by trainers. Logan told the Social Elite that she knew they were just playing games. She informed them that they’d compete this Saturday at Hype or they’d be stripped of the titles.
Casey Grey Vs. Outlaw
- Outlaw made his return to the EW Warehouse to a pop from the crowd and was excited as he moved around the stage. The World Champion, Casey Grey, walked out next with her title around her waist. The two were in the ring for this non-title bout and the match quickly started with a lock up.
- Grey was out to make this a quick match as she rolled Outlaw up with a small package but he popped up at one. Outlaw hit a springboard crossbody as he hit the ropes and took down Grey. Outlaw rolled to his feet and looked for a senton but Grey moved out of the way.
- This let Grey take control of the match as she started to target the back of Outlaw with knees and belly to back suplexes. Grey locked in a Boston crab and Outlaw slowly made a break as he got to the ropes.
- Outlaw tried to charge at Grey and ran into a spinebuster in which she flipped over for a bridging pin for two.
- Outlaw was able to land a few jabs and kicks before sending Grey into the ropes and driving her to the mat with the Lock-Up (Black Hole Slam)! Outlaw was slow to get into a cover and Grey kicked out at two.
- Outlaw had the crowd energized when he took Grey down with a tilt-a-whirl arm drag right into Harsh Punishment (Border City Stretch)! Grey was able to fight her way to the ropes. Outlaw kicked off the middle rope to roll them back to the center of the ring but Grey wouldn’t tap. She was able to get her footing under her and got to her knees before delivering a belly to back suplex.
- Outlaw looked for a clothesline but Grey countered with her Copperhead Road (Cobra Clutch/Single Knee Backstabber).
- The back was bothering Outlaw and Grey stomped on it multiple times. Outlaw got to his feet and looked for Unlawful (Tilt-a-Whirl DDT [John Morrison]) but Grey countered with a northern lights suplex! Grey powered Outlaw up to her shoulders and delivered Racklash (Rack Attack) and covered for a pin.
WINNER: Casey Grey via pinfall @ 19:33
After the match, Casey Grey snatched the title from the referee as she jumped onto the middle turnbuckle and showed it off to the fans. She placed it on her shoulders and looked around the Warehouse. "She's a Genius" by Jet started to play as the crowd went bonkers. Grey looked around the Warehouse before seeing Nessa Wall standing at the back of the crowd in one section. The two locked eyes and had a staredown as the show came to close.
