- Skjaldmaer pulled herself up and ducked a clothesline and grabbed the arm of Noavrra before hitting her with Dáinsleif (Hammerlock Lariat)! After the match Skjaldmaer stood tall while Noavrra rolled out of the ring and walked around, coming to. She looked up at Skjaldmaer and gave her a small clap before leaving.
It’s Later Than You Think
“Hell’s Bells” by Sara Matera begins to play over the sound system as Casey, Karli, Alicia, and Annabelle step out onto the stage. All are wearing matching black dresses and boots. The four of them waste little time as they make their way to the ring, with Casey, Alicia, and Annabelle climbing through the ropes. Karli takes a microphone from ringside and joins them. They converse for a moment before Alicia takes the microphone.
Alicia Monroe: I know this whole thing wasn’t scheduled and I would totally apologize to the sound guy if the threat we made to get our music played wasn’t totally legit. That said, I wanted to send a quick message to The Haters. This Saturday at Hype, you’ve been unlucky enough to draw my cousin and I in a match. It might not seem like it, but I know there’s a lot riding on this match. Moving up in the tag team division is something that we’ve talked about a lot recently, and now we have a chance to make that happen. Haters? 323? I guess we have to start with someone, and you guys are just as good as any.
Annabelle Daboia: You know, this whole thing is still relatively new to me, so I’m going to keep this short. Saturday night, we’re coming out to this ring to kick all of your asses and make our mark. And in the off chance that somehow it doesn’t work out that way, we’ll just kick your asses somewhere else. Like in the back. Or the parking lot. Or your sister’s kids’ birthday party. And one last thing. Social Elite. Live it up. Enjoy yourselves. It’s later than you think. Anything to add, champ?
Annabelle holds the microphone up by her shoulder. Casey rolls her eyes, shakes her head, and heads to the ropes. Annabelle smiles.
Annabelle Daboia: I didn’t think so.
The Belles leave the ring and head to the back.
Danny RoseVs. Kayla Taylor
- Before the match started, Kayla Taylor cut a promo about Danny Rose being a little fish in a big pond. She talked about how she’s tired of being looked at like fish food when she’s actually one of the greatest champions to ever step into the Empire Wrestling ring.
- Rose hit the stage to a nice cheer from the crowd. Rose threw up a peace sign with a pop of pyro behind him. He hit the ring with energy and Taylor was fired up and ready to strike.
- Rose and Taylor locked up and she was able to flip him to the mat and tried to work his shoulder. Rose rolled forward and got to his feet and pulled Taylor with a hard elbow to the face.
- Rose went “around the world” with a wristlock into a hammerlock into a side headlock into an opposite arm wristlock takedown. The speed of Rose was on display with quick strikes once Taylor was back up. He then delivered the 1, 2, 3, Triple Deke (Irish Whip, drop down, leap frog, springboard gamengiri/Disaster Kick).
- The crowd was with Rose and he was feeding off their energy as he delivered a standing moonsault. He covered and Taylor powered out at two.
- Taylor and Rose went back and forth and Rose looked for a suplex before Taylor countered with her Merry Go Round (Spin Fisherman Suplex). Taylor hooked both legs for a cover for just two. Taylor was frustrated and pulled down her knee pad and measured up Rose. She looked for Plan A (Shining Wizard) but he was able to duck it and roll her up for another two count.
- Rose had control at this point and was landing hard blows to Taylor and flipped her to the mat. As she stood, Rose hit Taylor with Ever Since I Can Remember I've Been Popping Your Shoulder (Double Knee Armbreaker). Rose was up and to the top rope in the blink of an eye and came flying off as Taylor stood and hit her with My Ultimate Weapon Has 8 Materia Slots And They're All Black (Meteora) and covered her for a three count win.
WINNER: Danny Rose via pinfall @ 11:04
Extreme Division Match
AJ Jenkynx Vs. Manic
- Jenkynx was the first to the ring as he awaited his opponent. The lights went out before the static filled the speakers and screen before “Come for Me” by New Years Day played and out from a cloud of smoke crawled Manic in the dark blue and green lights.
- Jenkynx was armed with a kendo stick and a chair placed between the middle and top turnbuckle. Manic pulled herself into the ring and was rushed into the corner with strikes. AJ took the fight to Manic and it looked like it might pay off as he stomped on her. He walked away to get a kendo stick and when he turned around he was taken down with a sling blade!
- AJ stood and was rocked with a spinning backfist to the side of the head that really seemed to disorient him.
- Manic took control of the match with her erratic strikes and kicks. Manic looked for a running dropkick but Jenkynx was able to sidestep it. Before she stood he rocked her with a buzzsaw kick to the head. AJ went into a cover but Manic kicked out at one. Manic pulled at her hair as she stood and was hit with hard kicks from Jenkynx.
- AJ had the kendo stick and hit her multiple times across the back as Manic screamed out in pain and moved around the ring. A fourth shot hit her back and she turned and caught him with a roundhouse kick to the head. A snapmare and kick to the back followed and AJ got up before getting dropped with Insane in the Membrane (Kneecap Brainbuster).
- Manic used the opening to go to the top rope and looked for Crashing Down (Double Foot Stomp) but AJ moved and she rolled through to her feet. She turned and AJ lifted her and hit Wicked Sins (End Of Heartache)! AJ went to the top rope instead of a cover and looked for a diving headbutt and missed as she rolled out of the way.
- Manic grabbed AJ and sent him head first into the chair in the corner and he fell into the ropes. Manic charged and delivered the Splitting Headache (Bicycle Knee Strike). Manic grabbed Jenkynx and pulled him into the center of the ring and grabbed the chair and opened it, placing it on him, and sat on it for a cover for three.
WINNER: Manic via pinfall @ 10:13
After the match Manic crawled into the corner and reached through the ropes and grabbed the camera and pulled it close. She said one thing; “Santos”. Manic smiled and started to laugh and the lights went out as she vanished.
Tag Team Championship
Social Elite [Angel Kash/Summer Page] (c) Vs. Dishonor [Jason Evans/Austin Scott]
- It was time for the main event of Breakout and Dishonor came out first. Social Elite took their time to the ring and showed off their titles. They climbed inside as the match was announced and kept trying to decide who would start the match. It was a ruse and Page turned and clocked Evans with a hard elbow as the match started.
- Page and Kash worked over Evans with a lot of quick tags to keep him in their corner and hit him with strikes to wear him down. Kash choked Evans with her boot in the corner. The referee threatened to DQ them before she finally broke the hold and got in the face of the referee. Social Elite continued to work over Evans for most of the start of the match.
- Kash looked for a running bulldog on Evans but he was able to push her into the ropes and caught her with a jumping heel kick. Evans made the hot tag to Scott and he jumped into the ring and laid out Kash with Straight Whiskey (Running Lariat). Page jumped into the ring and was slammed to the mat with a powerslam. Scott was fired up and tossed both members of Social Elite out of the ring and went after them as the two teams fought on the outside.
- The fight went around ringside as the referee allowed it. Page came off the steel steps and hit Scott with a blockbuster! Evans hit Kash with a tornado DDT on the floor! Evans and Page met in the ring and Evans looked for Fate’s Dagger (Falcon Arrow) but Page landed behind him and took him down with the Golden Rule (Reverse Neckbreaker). Page made a tag to Kash and she tried to lock in the Priceless Clutch (Camel Clutch) but Evans was able to make it to the ropes with his foot to break the hold.
- We got shots on screen of Hell’s Belles, the Haters, and the 323 watching in various spots backstage.
- Evans made a tag to Scott and met Kash in the middle of the ring. The two exchanged blows and Scott dropped her with a spinebuster. Scott pulled Kash up and looked for Ace in the Hole (Rikishi Driver) but Page jumped in and pulled her off his shoulders. Kash hit Scott with the Kash Flow (Codebreaker)! Page pushed Evans off the apron and he went crashing to the floor. Page and Kash both piled onto Scott and he tried to kick out but couldn’t as they retained!
After the match the Social Elite quickly exited the ring as Perez and Torres, the 323 rushed to the ring wanting to attack the champions. They just missed the two as they went up the ramp and held up the titles. Scott started to get to his feet but the 323 hit him with Gun Shot (Wheelbarrow by Perez into a running kick to the head by Torres, followed by a sit-down facebuster). Jason Evans watched on from the outside as the 323 dropped Scott. Page and Kash stood on the stage with the titles above their heads as we went off air.
