RELENTLESS - May 1, 2021
- The 7 competitors were in the ring; Katli Frost, Kayla Taylor, Danny Rose, AJ Jenkynx, Hanako, Noavrra, and Skjaldmaer.
- Jenkynx quickly attacked Rose as things kicked off and everyone was trying to get someone out of the ring. Noavrra powered Taylor over the top with a clothesline but she held on.
- Hanako flipped Skjaldmaer to the mat with a headscissors takedown. Karli Frost was almost knocked out of the ring after taking a big dropkick from Jenkynx. Frost flipped back into the ring and took him down with a spear.
- Rose flashed his speed with his I Like My Wrestling Moves Like I Like My Coffee, Dark And Nutty (spin kick to the stomach, Code Red sunset flip bomb, roll opponent out to kneeling and roll back, running knee strike, bridging northern lights suplex combo) to Frost.
- Noavrra hit a powerbomb to Taylor and rolled her up to her feet. She pulled her in and lifted her over the top and dropped her on the apron with an uranage. Taylor bounced off the apron and fell to the floor.
ELIMINATED: Kayla Taylor
- There was a big standoff between Noavrra and Skjaldmaer that had the fans excited. The two came to blows and hard kicks. Noavrra looked for a uranage but Skjaldmaer hit her with an elbow to the side of the head. Hanako came off the top ropes and caught them both with a dropkick. Hanako was celebrating before Jenkynx snuck up and dumped her over the top.
ELIMINATED: Hanako
- Jenkynx attached Rose once again and had him in the corner. He had him seated and stomped on him over and over. Jenkynx tried to pull him up and Rose connected with a hard chop to the chest. Rose rocked Jenkynx with A Good Blaster By Your Side Is No Match For A Hokey Religion (Spinning Back Head Kick). Jenkynx fell backwards and went over the top rope!
ELIMINATED: AJ Jenkynx
- Rose and Frost were trying to power each other over the top rope before Skjaldmaer came over and grabbed them both by the legs and flipped them over and eliminated them both.
ELIMINATED: Danny Rose and Karli Frost
- We were down to the final two as Noavrra and Skjaldmaer stood across from each other. The two battled around the ring before Noavrra got her into the corner. Noavrra ran the ropes and looked for Stampede (Repeated running Meteora knee strikes to a cornered opponent) but Skjaldmaer moved out of the way.
- Skjaldmaer grabbed Noavrra and delivered a dragon suplex. She looked to finish the Jörmungandr's Teeth (Dragon Suplex, followed up by a low kick to the head/jaw, into a Michinoku Driver) but Noavrra battled out of the driver. Noavrra spun her around and it was YEET MACHINE GO with three German suplexes. Skjaldmaer staggered up to her feet and was clotheslined over the top but she held on and stayed on the apron.
- Noavrra looked for a spear but ran into a kick as Skjaldmaer side stepped. Skjaldmaer pulled Noavrra over the top and to the apron. They went blow for blow before Skjaldmaer clocked Noavrra with a hard headbutt. Skjaldmaer climbed into the ring and ran the ropes and knocked Noavrra off with Gungnir (Running Big Boot)!
- Skjaldmaer looked around the Warehouse as she fell into the ropes. Tia Santos was shown on the jumbotron watching on.
Change of Plans
We got EW’s Management Liaison, Sara Logan, backstage. Logan let everyone know that due to COVID precautions, Dishonor would not be able to compete tonight but that they would be replaced by The Haters. She said that she heard the complaints of our Tag Champions, Summer Page and Angel Kash, and took everything they had to say under consideration. She agreed that it just wasn’t fair that Dishonor and the 323 were in this position of getting title shots because of them working together to put one over on the Social Elite. The Haters had also a hand in causing our champions issues over the last couple weeks. That’s why she was going to give the Social Elite a chance at revenge by making the championship match tonight a triple threat tag team match. The winning team would go on to face Dishonor next week on Hype.
- The fans were surprisingly split for Cross and Blake as the match was set to begin. Blake and Cross circled each other and tried to lock up but it came to a stalemate as they were trying to feel each other out. Cross hit Blake with a hard palm strike to the chest but Blake came right back with a forearm to the face. Cross slipped behind Blake and dropped her to the mat with a belly to back suplex.
- Cross landed blows to the back of the head of Blake before locking in a sleeper hold. Cross was brutal with her strikes before locking in the hold. Blake struggled to get free and was able to grab the ropes to force a break.
- Cross looked for Catch Your Breath (Striking Spear) but ran into a kick to the chest. Blake delivered a bridging fisherman suplex and got just enough for a two count before Cross kicked out.
- Blake looked for a penalty style kick to the head but Cross moved out of the way before hitting a dropkick to the knee of Blake. Cross hit the ropes and hit a blockbuster on Blake.
- Cross started to once again take control and hammer on the neck and back of the head of Blake.
- Cross pulled Blake up to her feet and then to her shoulders. She spun her around before driving her to the mat with Do A Barrel Roll (Cartwheel Death Valley Driver). Cross popped right up to her feet and went to the top rope. Blake slowly stood and was driven back with a meteora. Cross covered and got a two count before Blake kicked out.
- Cross tried to lock in Hungry Jaws (Dragon Sleeper w/ body scissors) and Blake was able to struggle out before she could lock it in. Cross started to charge and Blake popped up and caught her with the Future Sight (V-Trigger)! Cross fell into the corner and Blake came running over with the Facial (Running Facewash). Blake ran the ropes and came back with a second Facial! Blake pushed Cross down to the mat and covered and the referee made the three count as the bell rang!
- Blake was announced the winner as head referee Molly Reynolds ran down to the ring and stopped Mike Harris from handing Harper Blake the Primetime Championship. The two had a conference as a replay showed on the jumbotron and showed Blake had her foot under the rope that should’ve forced a break. Molly Reynolds rang the bell and restarted the match.
- Blake was in shock but quickly pulled Cross back to her feet and into position for her falcon arrow. Cross spun herself on the suplex and landed behind Blake. As Blake turned around she was rocked with the Mary Go Round (Discus Big Boot). Blake fell to a knee and Cross ran the ropes before connecting with John Wilkes Boot (Running Yakuza Kick to the back of the head)! Cross rolled Blake up with a cover and the fans popped when Blake kicked out at two.
- Cross was in shock as Blake used the ropes to pull herself up. Cross approached Blake and walked into a kick to the gut. Cross looked for a lariat but Blake ducked it and locked in a chickenwing. She looked for a double chickenwing facebuster but Cross was able to battle out and roll forward. She turned and Blake rocked her with Future Sight. Cross stumbled into the ropes and came back with Mary Go Round! Blake bounced off the ropes and Cross locked in Hungry Jaws (Dragon Sleeper w/ body scissors). Blake grabbed the top rope before Cross could drop with a body scissors. Cross hit the ropes and came back with a second John Wilkes Boot! Cross covered and picked up a victory.
Cross celebrated inside of the ring by taking the title and held it up high. Blake got to her knees and looked at the champion and gave her a nod out of respect. Cross nodded back before rolling out of the ring to head to the back.
Bad Blood
Scott Parker and Gemma Foster talked about the bad blood between David Slayton, Kasey Kash, and Kamila Rose. Clips of Kash and Slayton interfering in each other’s matches with Rose was shown. Then, a clip of last night’s BWF Happenstance aired:
Seeing his chance to retain, Kash went for the largest weapon hanging from the ropes, a ladder. He set it up, laid into Ghost with a steel chair, and then began climbing the ladder after wrapping the chair around Ghost's neck. He reached the top of the ladder, signaled for the Kash Out (Inverted Phoenix Splash)... but before he can leap off, someone charged into the ring; it's BWF Founder and one of Kash's EW Relentless opponents, David Slayton!
The crowd was in shock as Slayton pushed the ladder over, sending Kash toppling off of it. Kash landed neck first across the top rope and was flung back into the ring. Without missing a beat, Slayton turned his body, reared back and caught Kash with the Full Effect (Sweet Chin Music), laying him out!
This led to Kasey Kash losing his Revolution X Championship. We then got shots of Kash arriving backstage, heated, screaming that he wanted Slayton’s head as we cut away.
- This Tag Team Championship match was fast paced and hard hitting as all six competitors were in the ring at once. It was going to be one fall to the finish and it was clear that each team wanted this match to end quickly.
- Salvatore of the Haters and Torres of the 323 teamed up on Angel Kash while Perez of the 323 and DeLuca of the Haters teamed up on Summer Page. It was clear these two teams were set on taking out the Social Elite to make this a standard tag match.
- Torres hit Kash with a .38 Special (Gunnslinger) and she rolled out of the ring. Page started to fight back against DeLuca and caught him with the Golden Rule (Reverse Neckbreaker). Perez was quickly on Page and he took her down with a leg sweep.
- Once the Haters and 323 were happy with the carnage against the champions, they met in the middle of the ring and shook hands. Torres jumped up and hit DeLuca with CHIMUELO (Superman Punch [Translation: Toothless])! Salvatore tried to land blows on Torres but was speared into the corner by Perez. Perez whipped Salvatore across the ring right into Torres who hit him with a Samoan drop. They covered and Salvatore kicked out at two.
- The 323 kept up the assault on Salvatore with strikes and hitting him with a double suplex. Kash came out of nowhere and chopped down Torres with a chop block while Page came flying off the top rope with a crossbody splash on Perez.
- The Tag Team Champions tried to end things right there as they both climbed on top of Perez but DeLuca broke it up.
- Kash slipped out of the ring and Torres picked DeLuca up and tossed him over the top rope and onto Kash! Page leaned out of the ropes to check on her partner and turned back around, right into Perez coming off the second ropes with Rodeo Drive (Jumping DDT from Second Ropes). Perez covered Page and she kicked out at two.
- Salvatore lifted Perez up but took a hard shot to the back of the head from Torres. DeLuca had jumped back into the ring and Torres powered him up to his shoulder and dropped him with Boyle Heights Beat (Big Ending).
- Perez left the ring and went for Kash but she raked him in the eyes and tossed him into the barricade. She grabbed one of the Tag Team Titles and moved to the ring. Page tossed Torres over the top rope and he crashed onto the floor. Salvatore leaned over the ropes and grabbed her by the hair and lifted her to the apron. Kash clocked him with the title in the head and Page rolled him up with a school boy pin and they.
Page and Kash scurried out of the ring as the 323 jumped back in and they celebrated at the bottom of the ramp with the titles. They smiled and laughed at Perez and Torres who turned to DeLuca checking on Salvatore. Torres hit DeLuca with a big right hand before Perez got him set and they hit DeLuca with the Gun Shot (Wheelbarrow by Perez into a running kick to the head by Torres, followed by a sit-down facebuster). The Social Elite held the titles up as they went to the back.
- It was time for the cage match for the National Championship. The cage was lowered to the cheers of the fans before Slayton came out first. Kash was next and he tried to get into the cage but the referees made him wait as they were instructed to make him hold as he was ready to tear into Slayton. Rose came out solo tonight but in her Ember persona. Once she was near the bottom of the ramp, they allowed Kash into the cage and he went right for Slayton.
- Rose came quickly and handed off the title before entering the cage through the door. We were reminded that the only way to win was via pinfall or submission, escaping the cage would not end the match.
- Kash and Slayton went blow for blow before Slayton pushed Kash backwards. Rose grabbed him from behind and hit a bulldog and clothesline combo on Kash and Slayton. Rose hit both men with a double dropkick before popping up to her feet as she shook the cage door. She turned and took Kash down with a hurricanrana before getting right back to her feet. She turned into a running forearm strike from Slayton before getting back up.
- Slayton grabbed Rose and drove her to the mat with a DDT. He got back up quickly but Kash was there with a spinning backfist that rocked the veteran. Kash followed it with a ripcord lariat and then climbed onto Slayton and unloaded vicious right hands. Slayton tried to cover up but many of the blows connected.
- Kash moved to Rose and pulled her up and lifted her up for a Death Valley Driver. Rose spun around and hit a tornado DDT!
- Rose was up and ducked Slayton’s Full Effect (Sweet Chin Music) and hit him with a cutter as he turned. Rose covered but Slayton kicked out right at two. Rose went to Kash and he kicked out at one. Rose pulled Kash up and sent him into the corner before grabbing Slayton and whipping him into Kash. With both men in the corner she charged and hit a big corner splash. She ran the ropes and looked for a second but Slayton moved out of the way and she was hit with a big boot from Kash!
- Kash ran over to Slayton and slammed his face right into the cage. Then he pulled him to the other side of the ring and did it again. Kash jumped up and drove Slayton to the mat with a flatliner. Kash covered and got two before Rose was there to break it up.
- Rose sent Kash hard into the ropes and his back went hard into the cage where he stumbled forward and she caught him with a DDT. Rose rolled Kash right up to his feet and then sent him into the corner. She lifted him to the top rope and climbed up with him, holding onto the cage for support. She wanted to hit him with the Rose Clipper (Spanish Fly) but he tried to battle free. Slayton came running over and jumped to the bottom rope and grabbed Rose. He pulled as Rose and Kash tried to hold onto the cage but eventually he pulled them both down, Rose hitting the Rose Clipper and Slayton a powerbomb on Rose!
- Slayton covered Rose and she kicked out at two. He went to Kash and leaned down where Kash pulled him down for a small package, getting two and a half before Slayton powered out.
- Slayton and Kash were both up and Slayton hit him with the Full Effect! Slayton covered and got two before Rose dove onto him to break it up.
- Rose locked Slayton into the Black Rose (Banks Statement) and had it in tight. Slayton wouldn’t tap and tried to get free but couldn’t. Kash was up and stomped on the hand of Slayton before he could tap and then hit Rose with Going the Distance (Shining Wizard)! Kash was the only one standing and reached into his pants and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. He grabbed Rose and handcuffed her to the cage near the corner. He then left the ring and grabbed a chair and got back into the cage and drove it into the gut of Slayton.
- The next shot was on the back of Slayton as Rose started to come to and realized what was happening. Kash had also brought a chain into the ring and wrapped the door and cage with it and locked it. Rose’s brother came down the ring and tried to open the door and couldn’t. He took a chair and started to hammer on the lock from the outside.
- Kash hit Slayton with Fuck You and All Your Friends (Ripcord bicycle Knee). He then grabbed the chair and put it in the middle of the ring. He slapped Slayton around and shouted at him over last night’s BWF Happenstance event. Kash looked for a DDT on the chair but Slayton pushed him away. Kash was kicked in the knee by Rose as she thrashed around in the corner. Kash stumbled away and Slayton lifted him and dropped him on the chair with his new finisher, the End of Everything (One Winged Angel)! Rose’s brother was scaling the cage to try and free her as Slayton covered Kash, watching Rose with a smile, and he picked up the pinfall!
Slayton left the cage as Rose’s brother jumped down from his climb down the cage and unlocked the handcuffs of Rose as she screamed at Kash and Slayton. Slayton held up the National Championship on the stage as the cage rose. Rose shouted at Slayton as we cut away.
- With a new National Champion, it was time to find out who’d they’d defend against first. Coleman was the fan favorite in the match as the two strikers were ready to battle once again.
- These two left off where they did last time at Hype 71 with blows in the middle of the ring. A standard collar and elbow tie up led to strikes from both competitors.
- Coleman had Edwards backed into the corner with hard strikes and started to unleash hard shoulder strikes into his gut. Edwards remembered the tactic from last time and he popped her in the jaw with a lifting knee.
- Edwards looked for his open hand palm strike to the chest but Coleman had him scounted and flipped him down with an armdrag. She looked for her arm bar but Edwards rolled forward and got to his feet.
- Edwards looked for a lariat but Coleman ducked it and pulled him in for a German suplex but he countered with elbow strikes to the side of her head. This left Coleman open for the Triple Play (Two Spinning Back Fist followed by a Spinning Back Elbow)!
- For the first time in the match Edwards had control of the ring and landed hard blows to the sides of Coleman. A kick eventually led to a gutwrench brainbuster!
- Edwards started to target the leg of Coleman and had her locked in a single leg crab. Coleman was finally able to get to the ropes and forced a break. She used them to pull herself up near the corner. Edwards charged and looked for a running knee but Coleman moved and he went knee first into the turnbuckle! Coleman used the opening to take him down with a chop block when he stood. She looked for a figure four but Edwards kicked her away and she went through the ropes and fell to the floor.
- Edwards went after his opponent and walked into a back elbow to the face. Coleman lifted him and dropped him onto the apron with a belly to back suplex. Coleman rolled Edwards into the ring and went after him. He climbed to his feet but was dropped with a belly to belly slam. Coleman was up and hit the ropes and came back as he sat up and hit him with the Headache (Running Knee to the face)! She covered and Edwards kicked out at two to the shock of the fans and Coleman.
- Coleman readied herself and wanted that Superwoman Punch. Edwards was up and quickly dodged the punch and came off the ropes with the High Heat (Springboard Busiaku Knee)! Edwards covered and the fans cheered when Coleman kicked out at two.
- Coleman was pulled up to her feet and pushed Edwards away and hit him with a chop to the chest. She looked for her MEG KICK (Standing kick to the left or right side of head) and Edwards ducked it. Coleman stumbled on the leg that Edwards had been targeting and Edwards used the opening to connect with the Wildfire (Spin Kick followed by a Roundhouse Knee). He covered Coleman and picked up the victory.
- Skjaldmaer came to the ring first and looked as ready as she could be after the hard hitting battle royal earlier in the night. Santos came out from a cloud of smoke and made her way to the ring. The usual scattering of trash cans and weapons were around the ring but these two were ready to just beat the hell out of each other without them.
- Skjaldmaer was getting her first ever championship opportunity and Santos was looking for her tenth defense of the Extreme Championship.
- Skjaldmaer landed the first few strikes with jabs and a kick to the gut. Santos was clearly outpowered but had the speed as she ducked a lariat. Santos hit the ropes and hit a running dropkick to Skjaldmaer.
- Santos looked for a crossbody but Skjaldmaer slammed her to the mat with a tilt-a-whirl slam! Skjaldmaer stomped on Santos and then pulled her to her feet and tossed her into the corner. Santos jumped to the second ropes and came flying off with a dropkick that staggered Skjaldmaer into the ropes.
- Santos charged at Skjaldmaer but she lifted her up and over the ropes. Santos landed on the apron and held onto the top rope. Santos grabbed Skjaldmaer by the head but was rocked with a headbutt, causing Santos to fall to the floor.
- Skjaldmaer went after the champion and powered her up with ease and carried her over to the barricade and dropped her ribs first onto it. Santos grabbed at her midsection and walked away. Skjaldmaer started to go after Santos but was dropped with a drop toe hold on the floor. Santos jumped onto the barricade and readied herself before dropping back with a coffin drop splash!
- Santos got Skjaldmaer up to her feet and rolled her into the ring and followed. Skjaldmaer got to her feet and was able to pull Santos in with a hammerlock before flipping her inside out with Dáinsleif (Hammerlock Lariat)! Skjaldmaer covered and got two before Santos kicked out.
- Skjaldmaer had Santos up and delivered Mjölnir (Small Package Piledriver). She put her arms out to the sides as Santos tried to crawl away. Skjaldmaer pulled her in for the March into Muspelheim (Sitout Razor's Edge into a pin) but Santos countered into a headscissors takedown! Both competitors were up and Skjaldmaer looked for a big boot but Santos countered with Danze de los Muertos ([Dance of the Dead] Usually performed when an opponent goes for a kick to her head. Tia bends back, using her flexibility, evading the kick. She bends back up and goes for a spinning back kick which the opponent usually ducks. As they come up, however, Tia’s kicking leg comes down and she nails them in the face with a Chick Kick, finishing with a dancing spin with her arms out).
- Santos pulled Skjaldmaer in and delivered the Beso de Muerte ([Kiss of Death] Dream DDT). Skjaldmaer started to get up to the shock of the fans and Santos. Santos hit a second Beso de Muerte and went for a cover and Skjaldmaer couldn’t kick out in time as Santos retained for the tenth time!
Tia Santos clutched the Extreme Championship and looked at Skjaldmaer who was somehow starting to get back to her feet. The two met in the middle of the ring before Skjaldmaer gave Santos a quick handshake before leaving. Santos celebrated for a bit before leaving the ring. Santos was halfway up the ramp before a screeching was heard and the jumbotron became static. “Manic is returning. Manic is extreme.” flashed on the tron before going back to normal, Santos watching on.
Bow. Down.
A video package for the main event started to air. It featured the song “Bow Down” by I Prevail and clips of Casey Grey and Lacy Nelson over the course of the Empire Wrestling careers.
Get on your knees and bow down!
We got shots of Casey Grey and Lacy Nelson in a staredown.
The first verse started to play.
Yeah, I come alive, I'll survive, take on anything
So paint a target on my back, let 'em come for me
I don't fall, don't quit, don't ever sleep
'Cause I'm on another level that you'll never reach
If you seek forgiveness
You'll get nothing, you'll get nothing from me
Every clip that aired here showed Casey Grey in her early days of Empire Wrestling, including her time as Primetime Champion.
You will never know, it's the price I pay
Look into my eyes, we are not the same
Yeah, this is where you fall apart
Yeah, this is where you break
'Cause I'm in control, and you'll know my name
'Cause I gave my life, gave it everything
Yeah, this is where you fall apart
Yeah, this is where you break
To everybody who doubted
Get on your knees and bow down
Get on your knees and bow down
Clips of Grey fighting with Manic and Nelson fill up the next part of the package before the “Get on your knees” part. When that hits we see Casey Grey standing in the middle of the ring, the Warehouse dark around her and just a spotlight shining on her. The song breaks down into a;
YOU BETTER RECOGNIZE
And we flip to Lacy Nelson in the ring by herself.
You wanna talk that shit, time to back it up
'Cause the best of your best ain't good enough
Playing with my name, now I know you really fucked up
Keep running your mouth, and I'ma call your bluff
We get clips of Nelson superkicking people and picking up victories in her career. The song continues into the chorus as more shots of Nelson celebrating are shown. The song finally slows as we see Casey Grey sitting with her head down and then finally looking at the camera.
You're never gonna be enough
So I had this dream, it meant everything, and I watched it come alive
Then I let you in, underneath my skin, and I learned to love the lies
Now I lay awake and I contemplate, have I become what I hate?
Can I take it back 'cause it's all I have? Will it get the best of me?
We flash to Lacy Nelson sitting in the ring with the title in her lap.
Have you ever had a dream? Would you fight for it?
Would you go to war? Would you die for it?
So now I'll take my stand, now I'll make you see
That if you seek forgiveness, you'll get nothing from me
The song wraps up with Grey and Nelson going blow for blow before we get to the end repeating “BOW DOWN” and we flash between Grey and Nelson three times.
- The fans were going wild after the video package and we got the big time introduction of this falls count anywhere match. Grey was out first to a series of boos. The roof exploded as Nelson came out second and had a big pop of pyro behind her. The two were in the ring and Nelson showed off the title as she was announced second. The bell rang and the two looked around the Warehouse and soaked it all in.
- Grey put her fits up and told Nelson to bring it. Nelson slipped behind Grey and pulled her into a side headlock and quickly flipped her over. Grey looked for a head scissors on the ground and Nelson flipped over her into a pin for a quick one before Grey rolled Nelson onto her back and then slipped into a sleeper hold. Nelson quickly slipped out and got to her feet and looked for a cutter but was pushed away. Grey tried for her cobra clutch but Nelson swung herself around and spiked Grey with a DDT!
- The fans were chanting for Nelson as she pulled Grey up to her feet but was speared into the corner. Grey jumped up with a knee strike to the face and then an enziguri! Grey grabbed Nelson and hit Alicia Monroe’s Freebird (Running Bulldog). Grey quickly tried to lock in the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface Submission) but Nelson rolled forward and was able to grab the ropes.
- Nelson smiled and rolled her neck and shoulders as she stood. She readied herself with her fists up now and Grey came charging in and slipped behind Nelson. Grey looked for a swinging neckbreaker but Nelson kept her moving and got behind her and delivered a big German suplex!
- Nelson had control of the match and hit Grey with a series of suplexes. Grey stumbled to her feet and was slammed to the mat with a double underhook powerbomb! Grey rolled out of the ring to get some breathing room before Nelson could go for a cover.
- Grey took a few moments but that’s all Nelson allowed her as Nelson came flying through the ropes with a tope suicida!
- Nelson covered Grey on the outside and got two before Grey kicked out. Nelson pulled Grey up and whipped her into the barricade. Nelson charged and was lifted up and over with a back drop, landing on some of the empty chairs right at ringside. Some of the fans nearby gave them space as Grey grabbed a chair and cracked it over the back of Nelson and then covered. The referee got into position and Nelson kicked out at two.
- Grey and Nelson fought in the first few rows of the crowd before fighting each other close to the ramp. Grey rolled Nelson onto the ramp and jumped up. The two fought on the stage now and Grey tried to lift Nelson up for the Racklash (Rack Attack) off the stage but Nelson fought off her shoulders and landed on her feet. Nelson landed a hard kick to Grey and wanted to powerbomb her off the stage but Grey crawled through her legs and scurried to the back.
- Nelson went to go after her but Grey sprayed her with a fire extinguisher as she turned the corner. Grey pulled Nelson into position and hit the GTO (Fisherman Driver) on the stage! Grey covered and got a two count before Nelson kicked out.
- Grey yelled at the referee as he confirmed it was just a two count. Grey grabbed Nelson and led her to the ring by her hair and rolled her in under the ropes. Grey followed and readied herself. Grey looked for the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash) but Nelson countered into Grey’s own Bitch Muzzle! Grey was in the middle of the ring as the fans cheered Nelson on. Grey looked like she was able to tap but refused. She started to crawl and finally made it to the ropes and pulled herself under to get a break.
- Nelson quickly went back after Grey and pulled her though the ropes and spiked Grey with a rope assisted DDT. Grey crawled into the corner as Nelson hit the ropes and came back with THUNDERSTRUCK (Running Hip Attack)! Nelson pulled Grey into the center of the ring and delivered the Deadline (Tiger Driver '98)! Nelson had her in a cover and got two before Grey kicked out.
- Nelson laid on the mat in disbelief before sitting up and pulling her hair back. Grey crawled to the ropes and used them to pull herself up. Nelson looked for a superkick but Grey ducked and pulled down the ropes and Nelson went over and fell onto the apron. Grey grabbed Nelson and hit her with a forearm and then bounced her head off the top turnbuckle.
- Grey pulled Nelson up to the top and lifted her onto her shoulders and then jumped off the second ropes with the Racklash! Grey crawled over to Nelson and covered and got two before Nelson kicked out and the fans erupted. “This is awesome” chants rang throughout the Warehouse as both competitors slowly got to their knees.
- They exchanged blow for blow as they started to stand. Grey fell backwards off the ropes and looked for a Breath Mint but Nelson ducked it. Grey turned and walked into the Headline (Eat Defeat)! Nelson fell back and couldn’t capitalize with a pin because Grey rolled out from the ring as Nelson crawled to her.
- Nelson took a deep breath and went after Grey. Grey crawled to the announce table and climbed onto it. Nelson followed and went up it with her and pulled her up. Grey tried to fight back and Nelson hit her with a superkick that sent her falling backwards and onto the barricade before she fell into the crowd.
- Nelson slowly moved over to Grey and leaned over the barricade before a long BONG was heard as Grey hit Nelson with the ring bell! Nelson stumbled backwards, busted open, and fell onto the announce table. Nelson was out cold from the shot with the bell and Grey locked in the Bitch Muzzle on the table. Nelson was unresponsive and the referee called for the bell!
The fans were in shock as Casey Grey was announced as the NEW Empire Wrestling World Champion. Grey finally let go of Nelson with a scream and grabbed the title from the referee. She rolled into the ring and sat on her knees, clutching the title to her chest. The three time Primetime Champion was now World Champion for the first time ever. Monroe, Frost, and Daboia all rushed down to celebrate with Grey. FM Young had slipped down to ringside with trainers to check on Lacy Nelson who was a bloody mess on the table. Hell’s Belles lifted Grey onto their shoulders as she held the title on her shoulder to end the show.
