Burgess was able to strike Skjaldmaer with an elbow to the side of the head that dazed her as he rolled away. He grabbed a kendo stick from the trash can and cracked it over the back of Skjaldmaer. She walked away and he cracked her with another shot. He looked for a shot to the head but she was able to catch it between her hands. Casey Grey: Yeah, it's an important match, and Lacy Nelson is a major opponent. That being said, I still feel like I've had to jump through flaming hoops to get here. And I'm pretty sure that the only reason that I wasn't in a handicap match against a Brahma bull and a grizzly bear last week is because Sara Logan's animosity towards me would be too obvious. I'm really sick of her crap.
Kevin Olson: Casey, you know that's not fair. And it's also not correct. You were left off of the card last Hype is because Lacy Nelson was also left off. You both deserved the break before the match tonight, if for no reason other than to ensure that nobody could complain about being--
Casey Grey: What did you say?
Kevin Olson: Um...nothing?
Casey Grey: Did you just call me "nobody"?
Kevin Olson: No. I would never--
Casey Grey: Yeah. Right. You got anything else you want to ask me or do you just want to piss me off tonight? Freakin' A right I've been complaining. I have every right to. The only reason I'm not pounding you into the ground right now like a nail is because I’m actually in a good mood tonight. But that might not last, Kevin. You might want to avoid the Aftershock set.
Kevin Olson: Fair enough. And…thanks for the warning, I guess.
Casey Grey: Yeah. Whatever, Kevin. Now, you have to excuse me. I have an ass to kick tonight.
Casey walks away.

Noelle Jansen Vs. Gio DeLuca
The Angle: Noelle Jansen was set to make her debut when Gio DeLuca made an appearance on the jumbotron. He cut a promo about how he believed in Casey Grey’s wild idea that Sara Logan was unfit and unfair. Week after week, month after month, all the newcomers were pitted to take on Gio and he found it unfair. He said the reason he had such a bad win/loss record was because he was always going up against people who had no Empire Wrestling tape for him to study. Gio was tired of the “disrespect”. He refused to be a part of it any longer and refused to go out for the match. Jansen watched and started to talk to the referee. We cut away after much confusion.
Stop. Drop. Shut Em Down.
We open on Lacy Nelson standing by with the EW World Championship on her shoulder. She looked into the camera as she removed her sunglasses. She licked her lips and adjusted the title and smiled.
Lacy Nelson: This is it, Casey. The opportunity you’ve been wanting for ages now. We’ve done this song and dance before, as I said last time. I beat you in the ring and you went on to attack me after the match because you were just using me to get to your sister, to FM. You have this idea that the whole world is out to get you and you’re never given the opportunities but have you ever considered that maybe you don’t DESERVE those opportunities?
She pauses for a moment as the harsh words leave her lips.
Lacy Nelson: That get you riled up? Good. That’s the Casey I want in this match. I want the former 3-time Primetime Champion that had some of the greatest matches in Empire Wrestling history. I don’t want the Casey that we’ve seen for the last year or so. You’ve been so concerned with your family drama with Alicia and this Rune stuff and all sorts of things. You haven’t put your focus on things inside the ring. When I’ve focused on the ring I do things like become the Empire Wrestling World Champion. Tonight, I’m focused on what’s happening in the ring. I’m focused on you, Casey. I’ve spent the last few weeks training with FM. I’ve been learning about your tendencies in the ring. Tonight we get a repeat of our last outing and I walk out of Hype champion. AND STILL will be heard throughout the Warehouse. The headline will be my boot hitting your jaw. You think you can take this from me? Come and get it.
Nelson looks into the camera with a determined looked as we cut away.
