During the broadcast of the first Animosity, the brand new EW Heavyweight Championship was shown to the world. The Championship is the biggest prize in Empire Wrestling and is the pinnacle of greatness in the locker room. Whomever holds the title is the person to beat. The world has their eyes on you when you're at the top. During the championship bout at Next Level: Revolution 2019, the championship belt was cracked. Daemon would go on to carry the broken Heavyweight Championship until June 26th, 2019 when the championship was changed to a World Championship (after a few shows overseas) and awarded a new belt. On April 27th, 2020, on Twitter, it was revealed that the championship would see it's first major redesign with a new plate and white strap. This championship was awarded to Lacy Nelson, the champion at the time, on the May 1st, 2020 event. *Event held during Era I of Empire Wrestling
