On February 27, 2019 it was announced that Empire Wrestling was adding a third singles championship and this time it was going to be extreme. The Extreme Championship embodies something a little more hardcore and no limits. Each Extreme Championship match and Division bout are fought under Extreme Rules which, simply put, are no disqualification matches, anything goes.
