Next Level: Revolution - March 6, 2021
Scott Parker:Welcome everyone to this year’s Next Level: Revolution! Tonight we have another amazing show for you that features every Empire Wrestling championship on the line, PLUS, two BWF championships!
Gemma Foster: It’s exciting, Scott. We’re honored to feature some amazing talent from the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation. Tonight’s title matches all feature multiple challengers and it’s fitting for Next Level: Revolution. What sort of revolutions will we see tonight?
Scott Parker: That’s right, Gemma. Each champion has a tough challenge in front of them tonight. It was almost a year ago at this exact event that Lacy Nelson invoked the Victorem contract and defeated Daniel Daemon to win her first World Championship. Tonight she has yet another personal battle as she takes on her personal demon, Manic. Add in Casey Grey to the mix and we have an amazing main event lined up. Speaking of personal battles, Gemma, Tia Santos defends the Extreme Championship against Kaito Hirano. If Kaito loses then no member of Dishonor can challenge for the Extreme Championship while she’s the champion!
Gemma Foster: All that action and more starts right now with the Tag Team Championship!
The Start: The Crew and the 323 were already in the ring as Kingslayers started to make their way down to the ring. Out next was the duo of Daniel Daemon and Josh Goldstein, announced at the World’s Finest. There was a pop from the crowd as Krista May Williams and Kayla Taylor, the Freaks with Benefits, came out as one of the surprise teams. Jason Evans and Austin Scott of Dishonor were the next team. The Tag Team Champions Social Elite were out last as they walked around the ring. Page and Kash talked things over and started to climb into the ring as things were set to start. The bell rang and all the teams quickly started to fight.
Gemma Foster: There’s 14 competitors in the ring right now and everyone is trying to get some sort of advantage.
Scott Parker: Both members of a team must be tossed over the top rope for a team to be eliminated in this match.
The Match: Kash and Page rolled out of the ring as the other competitors fought. Kingslayers and World’s Finest brawled while Crew and 323 fought, and also the Freaks fought with Dishonor. Daemon started to unleash strikes to the throat and slaps to the chest to everyone before tossing Josh Williams over the top rope and to the floor. Goldstein was double teamed by Junji and Fixit as everyone teamed up on Daemon. Daemon fought everyone off as Page and Kash climbed into the ring and tried to get the big man over the top. He flipped over the top and landed on the apron and fought them off. Goldstein hit a double dropkick to Kingslayers and a neckbreaker on Page. Elsewhere, Krista May Williams lifted Jack Williams over the top and Taylor came over and knocked him off the apron.
ELIMINATED: The Crew
Torres was right there and flipped Taylor over the top rope and she landed on the floor. Evans ran over and was lifted in the air and landed on the apron. He jumped to the steel steps and out of reach from anyone. Page rolled out of the ring and ran over and pushed him off the steps!
Gemma Foster: You got to give it to Summer Page there.
Page climbed back into the ring and was hit with Straight Whiskey (Running Lariat) from Scott as she flipped inside out! Goldstein came off the middle rope and hit a Brooklyn Quebrada (Springboard Moonsault inverted DDT) on Scott! Daemon and Torres met in the middle of the ring and came to blows. Fixit jumped in as the three biggest guys went to battle.
Scott Parker: That’s a lot of beef!
Torres hit Daemon with a headbutt and then a backfist. Fixit rocked Torres with Fixed (Haymaker) and then clotheslined him over the top rope and to the floor. Perez tried to dump Fixit but Junji ran over for the save and dumped Perez.
ELIMINATED: The 323
Taylor was trying to get Daemon over the top with Kash and Page but he held onto the ropes. Goldstein came over and hit all three with the 718 (Tiger Feint Kick)! He climbed back into the ring but Scott clotheslined him over the top! Page and Kash came right over and tossed Scott!
ELIMINATED: Dishonor
Daemon and Junji ended up on the apron as they tried to knock each other off. Daemon lifted Junji and chokeslammed him to the floor! Taylor charged at Daemon and he dropped and pulled down the rope as she went over and to the apron. Krista May was pulled over the top and the Freaks kicked at his knees as he fell to one knee. Krista and Kayla hit a double shining wizard and Daemon started to fall but held onto the top rope. Daemon hit Kayla with an elbow as she dropped and then turned and hit a big boot on Krista!
ELIMINATED: Freaks with Benefits
Fixit came running over and hit Daemon with Fixed and knocked him off the apron!
ELIMINATED: World’s Finest
Scott Parker: We’re down to Page and Kash of Social Elite and Mr. Fixit of the Kingslayers!
Page charged and ran into a big boot. Kash came over and Fixit hit her with the Royal Guard Bomb (Sitout Chokebomb)! Fixit lifted Kash up and tossed her to the apron and she held on. She quickly got back into the ring and the two tried to get each other over the top. Fixit was overpowering her but Page ran over and tossed both Kash and Fixit!
The Aftermath: Fixit looked around, shocked, before Kash crawled back into the ring and hugged Page as the fans booed them. They celebrated and held up the titles before heading to the back.
The Start: Meg Coleman came to the ring first to a decent cheer from the fans. The former National Champion adjusted the tape around her waists as she made it to the ring. Out next was AJ Jenkynx who looked determined on his way down. Third was Kamila Rose as she posed on the stage for a few brief moments. It was time for the surprise entrant into the match and the fans were treated to multiple time World Champion and former EW Tag Team Champion David Slayton. Finally, the National Champion Kasey Kash stepped out and jumped up and down on the stage before making his way down to the ring.
Scott Parker: This match is using the BWF standard of scramble matches as there are 5 competitors in the ring and 20 minutes on the clock. The current champion at the end of the 20 minutes will be the official National Champion.
20:00
The Match: The bell sounded to kick things off and the competitors started to look around the ring. Jenkynx made the first move as he charged at Slayton but was popped in the jaw with a back elbow. Coleman hit the ropes and caught him with a Superwoman Punch. Kash and Rose were battling with strikes before Coleman came up to Kash and hit him with a German suplex and bridged into a pin but it was quickly broken up by Rose and Slayton. Rose took Coleman down with a headscissors and Coleman rolled out of the ring. Rose started to climb to the top rope but was attacked by Kash. Kash looked for a superplex but Rose started to fight back. Kash hit her with a headbutt and delivered a suplex from the very top rope. As they both laid there for a moment, Slayton came flying off the top and hit From the Ashes (Frog Splash) onto Kash and picked up a shocking pinfall!
CURRENT NATIONAL CHAMPION: David Slayton
Slayton climbed to his feet and was speared into the corner by Coleman. Coleman started to unload shots to the ribs of Slayton. Jenkynx grabbed Coleman from behind and delivered a German suplex. She rolled to her feet and Jenkynx delivered a buzzsaw kick that dropped her. Jenkynx turned to Slayton and was flipped inside out with a clothesline. Slayton turned and was hit with a dropkick from Rose. Rose pulled Slayton to his feet and sent him back into a corner before running and hitting a big corner splash.
15:00
Rose was fired up but turned right into the Meg Kick (Standing kick to head) from Coleman! Coleman turned to Slayton and flipped him face first onto the mat and sat on his shoulder and pulled at his arm. Slayton wouldn’t tap and Kash came running over and hit Coleman with Going The Distance (Last Shot/Shining Wizard)! Slayton started to get up but was hit with Kash’s F* You and All Your Friends (Ripcord bicycle Knee) and went into a cover for a pinfall.
CURRENT NATIONAL CHAMPION: Kasey Kash
Kash rolled out of the ring to get a few moments away but Jenkynx jumped off the apron and hit him with a spear! Jenkynx rolled Kash into the ring and climbed to the apron after him. Jenkynx was knocked off the apron and fell to the outside by Rose. Rose went for Kash but he battled back as he stood. Kash hit her with a spinning backfist and Rose fell through the ropes. Kash turned and was hit with the Full Effect from Slayton! Coleman speared Slayton and they fell through the ropes together. Jenkynx came flying off the top with a diving headbutt! He covered Kash and picked up a pinfall!
CURRENT NATIONAL CHAMPION: AJ Jenkynx
7:00
Jenkynx jumped up and down in excitement as he picked up a pinfall over a big rival and was the current champ. Rose came after him but he jumped out of the ring and was chased as he tried to survive.
The End: We were down to the final 3 minutes as the fans were buzzing. AJ had fought off Rose and was back in the ring. He turned and Slayton pulled him down into the Firehawk Lock (Crossface) and screamed at AJ to tap out. Jenkynx wouldn’t tap and Coleman came over and broke things up and tossed Slayton over the top. She turned and AJ was up and she hit him with the Superwoman Punch and covered for a pinfall.
CURRENT NATIONAL CHAMPION: Meg Coleman
Coleman stood and was hit with Kash’s Canberra Collapse (Springboard Cutter)! He rolled her into a cover and picked up a pinfall.
CURRENT NATIONAL CHAMPION: Kasey Kash
Kash stood as he looked up at the jumbotron to see it down to 64 seconds. Kash and Slayton went blow for blow before Jenkynx came off the top rope but Slayton caught him with the Full Effect. AJ grabbed his jaw and rolled out of the ring. Slayton turned back to Kash and was clotheslined over the top rope.

Kash had his head on a swivel and was ready for anything. Coleman jumped through the air and caught him with the Superwoman Punch! Kash stumbled to his feet and was hit with another! Kash slowly stirred and was hit with a third for good measure!
:20
Coleman moved to Kash but was dumped over the top rope by Rose. Rose turned and jumped onto Kash and picked up the pinfall!
CURRENT NATIONAL CHAMPION: Kamila Rose
:04, :03, :02, :01
The bell rang as the match came to an end with a new champion.
CUE THE ORGAN GRINDER
The Aftermath: Kamila Rose celebrated for a few moments before rolling out of the ring and falling to her knees at the bottom of the ramp.
Kevin Olson walks up to Alicia backstage. She is flanked on either side by the other members of Hell's Belles, Annabelle Daboia and Karli Frost. Alicia looks up, shakes her head, and smirks.
Alicia Monroe: Here we go again.
Kevin Olson: Alicia, I appreciate how you don't want anyone to disturb Casey while she's getting ready for this important match, but I have a job to do, and I'm going to do it. I'm not going to take "No" for an answer. You and the others here are going to get out of my way and let me do this interview. Now, move out of--
Alicia cuts loose with a stiff right hand across Kevin's face and Annabelle and Karli start kicking him when he falls to the ground.
Alicia Monroe: I told you--
Karli and Annabelle stop kicking him when the door opens behind Alicia.
Casey Grey: What the hell is going on out here? Stop! Kevin, get up!
Kevin Olson: Casey...*cough*...a couple of questions, if you don't mind?
Casey Grey: I do mind.
Annabelle steps up to Casey.
Annabelle Daboia: He's a rat. Only one way to deal with a rat.
Casey Grey: What is this, the Mafia? I need you three to watch my back, not do your damnedest to get expelled from the warehouse. Leave Kevin alone.
Kevin Olson: Thank you.
Casey Grey: Shut up. You three go...share a salad.
Casey helps Kevin dust off his suit.
Casey Grey: What the hell, Kevin? You a glutton for punishment or something?
Kevin Olson: No, I'm just a reporter with a job to do.
Casey Grey: It's all the same around here. I know what you want. You want my thoughts on this match. They haven't changed. This should be a singles match between me and Lacy. Manic shouldn't have ever had her ticket punched. Everything that's happened has been done to cheat me out of a legitimate shot at the title. I don't even have to lose to lose.
Kevin Olson: You don't have anything else to say? No...positive thoughts about a shot at the title?
A beat.
Kevin Olson: Why do you feel like that? Like everyone is out to get you?
Another beat. Casey looks at the floor and then back at him.
Casey Grey: Because nobody has ever had my back, Kevin. I'm just a monkey dancing for this company.
Casey walks away as Kevin rubs the side of his face.
The Start: We were set for our first BWF championship match of the night and the fans in the Warehouse came to their feet for what was set to be an exciting bout. There was a big cheer for Super Tiger as she made her entrance into the Warehouse. She posed with a big smile at the top or the ramp before making her way down. There was a big reaction as the BWF Sovereign Champion Azurine Vebbins made her return to the EW Warehouse. Vebbins waved to the fans in attendance and then showed off her title before making her way down to the ring. Vebbins and Super Tiger met in the middle of the ring and shook hands before the bout.
The Match: Vebbins tried to lock up with Super Tiger to kick things off but Super Tiger landed a hard chop and then a forearm smash. Super Tiger went right into an uppercut and then drove her knee into the gut of Vebbins. Another hard chop to the chest of Vebbins caused her to grab her chest and it opened her for a jumping forearm to the face. Super Tiger hit the ropes and looked for an elbow drop but Vebbins rolled out of the way. Vebbins popped to her feet and Super Tiger looked for a backfist but Vebbins ducked it and ran to the ropes. She came back with a springboard and she turned into a double axe handle smash. Super Tiger got to her feet and was taken down with a northern lights suplex. Vebbins flipped over and lifted Super Tiger and went right into a second northern lights suplex. She flipped over once more and lifted Super Tiger up into a falcon arrow into a pin for two!
Scott Parker: It’s exciting to see Azurine back here in the Warehouse and the fans are loving her! They’re clearly behind her here tonight.
There were “Come back Vebbins” and “Let’s go Vebbins” chants throughout the match before being drowned out with “Sup-er Ti-ger” chants at times. Vebbins pulled Super Tiger up to her feet and sent her into the corner. Vebbins charged and looked to drive both knees into Super Tiger but Super Tiger moved out of the way! Vebbins grabbed her knees and the referee checked on her but she seemed okay to go on. Super Tiger grabbed her and delivered a suplex and rolled backwards and went right into a leg lock, working the knee. Vebbins was able to kick Super Tiger away and get up but was taken down with a dropkick to the legs. Vebbins crawled over to the middle ropes but that set her up for Super Tiger’s There and Back Again (Tiger Feint Kick)! Super Tiger grabbed the legs of Vebbins and flipped over with a bridging pin for two before Vebbins kicked out.
Gemma Foster: Back and forth we go but it’s looking like Super Tiger has the upper hand right now!
Super Tiger tried to set up for her Starlight Express (Bridging Dragon Suplex) but Vebbins fought out with elbows to the head and turned around before planting Super Tiger with a DDT. Vebbins pulled Super Tiger up and lifted her and dropped her with a fisherman brainbuster! Vebbins crawled onto Super Tiger and got a two count that was close to three. Vebbins went right into a Inverted Juji Gatame (Cross Armlock)! Super Tiger reached for the ropes but they were too far away. She struggled and was able to roll herself just enough to get to the ropes. Vebbins let go and got up. She went for Super Tiger but was pulled down and Vebbins went through the ropes to the floor. This gave Super Tiger some time to regroup. Super Tiger climbed to the apron as Vebbins was getting up to it as well. They fought on the apron with hard blows and Super Tiger hit a big headbutt! Super Tiger spun Vebbins around and hit the Go the F*ck to Sleep (Inferno Snap German Suplex; this is done to an opponent standing on the apron)! Vebbins crumbled and fell to the floor. Super Tiger jumped down and pulled her up to her feet and rolled her into the ring. She slid in slowly and covered Vebbins and picked up a two count in disbelief!
Scott Parker: 2.9 on a 3 count there!
Super Tiger looked around and then pulled Vebbins up to her feet. She sent her into the ropes and met her with the Tiger Tamer (Slide Thru Calf Crusher)! Vebbins tried for the ropes but Super Tiger pulled her into the center of the ring again. Vebbins pushed herself up and was able to roll through and sent Super Tiger face first into the middle turnbuckle. Super Tiger turned and Vebbisn drove her knees into the chest of Super Tiger and finished off the Sweetheart Sock Hop (Two knees into the sternum, followed by a Superkick into a Pulled-In DDT)! Vebbins covered and picked up the pinfall!
The Aftermath: Vebbins took a moment to celebrate and wave to the fans as she helped Super Tiger up and the two shook hands again.
Soul Taker
Pre-Recorded In Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico
We open on the outskirts of a small, modern village. There’s no big festivities going on but we can hear the sounds of the daily on-goings. Livestock and people alike, forming a din of voices which gives life to the otherwise barren jungle that surrounds it. Our main focus, however, isn’t moving on the village, but instead on an old, stone pyramid which has withstood the test of time. Centuries, perhaps even millennia have gone by in this structure’s existence and while it shows its signs of wear, from weather, tourists and invaders through history, it still stands tall. Much like the woman who paces back and forth in front of it. Dressed in all black - spandex pants, boots, a tank top tucked into the waist of her pants and a black bandana - Tia Santos dons her face paint once again. However, this time, it’s a simple white foundation to cover her face with black circles over her eyes. Strapped across her chest like a bandolier is the Empire Extreme Championship but it’s turned so that the center plate rests against her back. Whenever she turns to face the camera, we only see the straps and clasps, but for now….she paces, rubbing her hands together as she gathers her thoughts.
Tia Santos: Seven months, now.
She says in her native tongue with subtitles appearing on the screen to translate for viewers who don’t understand Spanish.
Tia Santos: For seven months, I have stood on top of the Extreme Division. I have taken on challenger after challenger after challenger. It keeps going on and on and on.
She stops and turns abruptly to face the camera, dropping her hands to her sides. Her fists clench, flexing the muscles in her arms. Tia’s never been the most chiseled or defined woman in wrestling but she’s so tense now that the definition in her bis and tris can be seen clearly as a fire burns within her shadowed eyes.
Tia Santos: It has gotten to the point that I am getting bored with the competition who steps up. The same, repetitive faces like those within Dishonor. I have stood on the battlefield with Jason Evans and Austin Scott so many times, with Kaito Hirano breathing down my neck in such a weak effort to intimidate me it almost makes me laugh. Yet, it is the redundancy...the repetitiveness...that saps what little joy I allow into my very being. So then, here we are now, Senor Hirano. It has been recognized as to how futile any of yours or Dishonor’s efforts are to knock me off of my Extreme Pedestal that this is now your final opportunity. The future of your allies in this division rests solely on your shoulders.
Tia talks with one hand now, motioning to the camera and herself to stress her point even further. Behind the face paint, a wry smile crosses her lips and she shakes her head.
Tia Santos: Kaito Hirano, you have a greater weight on your shoulders than I do. If you defeat me at Next Level: Revolution -- IF by some blessing of the GODS, you manage to take this from me….
She reaches up and unclasps the strap to the title around her chest. The champion holds it up for the camera to see. It gleams as the twilight rays bounce off of the freshly polished center plate.
Tia Santos: What happens to me? I lose a championship. One that I can easily take back if I choose to. Or I can go on to the - pardon the pun - “next level.” You cannot take an undefeated streak from me. F.M Young already did that. No, if you win, you will only be the second opponent to defeat me. Second place is, as some might say, the first loser. So, even if you win the match - IF, I say again - you still lose. However, Senor, let us look at the more likely scenario. When - yes, WHEN - I leave you broken...battered...writhing in a puddle of your own blood, you will do more than fail to take the Extreme Championship. You will have failed as a team mate. You will have failed as an ally. You will have failed as a leader. How are your compadres going to look at you when your failure to do what you must, penalizes them as well for such an indefinite period?
She rests the championship over her shoulder and slaps the center plate, looking at her belt with a sly chuckle before lifting her head just enough to aim her eyes back at the camera.
Tia Santos: For you are but a man, Kaito Hirano. A man with delusions of grandeur who thinks he cannot bleed. Thinks he cannot be brought down to the same level as those who have tried before him. What gives you such hope, Senior Hirano? What gives you hope that you can look the Saint of Killers in the eye and walk out with your soul intact? Let alone spoils of war.
As she says “spoils of war”, she runs her hand over the center plate of her belt.
Tia Santos: You know my rules, Kaito. Do not tell me. Show me. Show me that you can survive the hell you are so brazenly walking into. Will you? Can you? Or will I, once again, stand over a fallen warrior, arm raised to the Gods? Gold in one hand….
She takes the title off of her shoulder and hoists it up over her head. Her other hand lifts up to waist level in front of her, turned upwards as if she’s holding something.
Tia Santos: ...And your tattered soul in the other….
She holds that pose as the wind picks up, causing an eerie howl all around her with the shot fading out….
The Start: Noavrra was the first to start to make her entrance and she was given a lot of cheers on her way down to the ring. Noavrra climbed into the ring and moved around and pointed out to the fans in the Warehouse and was attacked from behind by Outlaw! Outlaw had jumped over the barricade and slid into the ring and attacked Noavrra before the start of the match. Outlaw landed clubbing blows before kicking Noavrra out of the ring. He followed after her and sent her hard into the barricade. She started to stand and fought back as he approached. Outlaw speared her into the announce table at ringside. He lifted her and hit a suplex and drove her though the table as trainers rushed down. Marilyn Lee Cross’ music hit and she started to make her way to the ring as Outlaw climbed back inside, Noavrra being checked on.
Gemma Foster: This is insane, Scott. Outlaw just took Noavrra out before the match so he could make this a singles match. That’s how important this Primetime Championship is to people.
Scott Parker: Yeah, but it took a little out of Outlaw too.
The Match: MLC showed off the Primetime Championship on the outside of the ring and then jumped to the apron. She climbed inside the ring and handed the title off to the referee and had to quickly defend as Outlaw attacked with jabs. She battled back and speared Outlaw into the corner. He went to back up and charge but ran into a palm strike and then the Hand of God (Spinning backfist). Outlaw got to his feet and turned into MLC’s Catch Your Breath (Striking Spear)! She covered but he was able to kick out right at two. MLC slowed the pace a bit and started to land hard strikes and knees to the gut of Outlaw. After a drop toe hold and jumping to her feet, MLC ran the ropes and looked for the Knee Harvey Oswald (Running Knee to the side of an opponent's head) but Outlaw moved out of the way. Outlaw was up to his feet was able to grab MLC and deliver a straight jacket lungblower. Outlaw pulled MLC up and hit a few jabs before sending her into the ropes and delivered a tilt-a-whirl slam and went right into Harsh Punishment (Border City Stretch). MLC was able to quickly scramble to the ropes and pulled herself out as Outlaw refused to let go of the hold.
Gemma Foster: Outlaw using the triple threat rules of no DQ to his advantage.
MLC was near the apron and Outlaw was on his feet. He charged and looked for a Flying High (Springboard triangle plancha to the outside) and caught him with a back elbow to the face as he crumbled to the floor! MLC took a few moments and then pulled Outlaw to his knees and then slammed him down to the floor with a blockbuster. MLC pulled Outlaw up and rolled him into the ring and started to climb back inside. She climbed to the top ropes and waited for Outlaw to stand and then hit him with a meteora. MLC rolled through and ran the ropes and came back with Knee Harvey Oswald! MLC covered and got a two count before Outlaw kicked out. The fans started to cheer as Noavrra was up and pushed trainers off her.
Scott Parker: Noavrra is refusing treatment and is looking to try and get in this thing.
Noavrra pulled herself into the ring. Noavrra readied as MLC charged and Noavrra hit her with a uranage. Noavrra held her side and ran the ropes and delivered a running senton. Noavrra was clearly in some discomfort but pulled MLC up. Noavrra tried to lift MLC up with a powerbomb but grabbed her side. Noavrra tried again and bent over, readying herself to lift MLC. Outlaw came running over and flipped over Noavrra and spiked her with Breaking the Law (Canadian Destroyer)! Outlaw went into a cover and MLC pulled him off at two. MLC covered and Noavrra kicked out at two. Outlaw grabbed MLC and sent her over the top rope and she landed on the apron. Outlaw hit a springboard clothesline that dropped her and MLC fell to the floor. Outlaw measured up Noavrra and wanted to hit another Breaking the Law but Noavrra stood and countered with an Alabama Slam! Outlaw staggered to his feet and she delivered a powerbomb. Noavrra jumped up and dropped onto Outlaw’s chest. She pulled him up and went into her Bridge to Terabithia (Backslide with bridge [Ala Jordynne Grace]). MLC jumped in and broke it up at two.
Gemma Foster: All three of these competitors with such close calls, Scott!
Outlaw crawled into the corner as MLC and Noavrra battled. Noavrra hit her with a snap kick to the head. MLC fell into the opposite corner as Outlaw. Noavrra pointed at Outlaw and charged and hit a big corner cannonball. Noavrra slowly pulled herself up and pointed to MLC and charged. She flipped for the cannonball but MLC rolled out of the ring and Noavrra hit the corner hard and grabbed at her back.
The End: Noavrra was on the mat and holding her back and Outlaw scrambled to the top rope. He came flying off the top with It Came From Above II (Frog splash)! Outlaw hooked a leg in a pin attempt and got two before MLC broke it up again. Outlaw started to stand and MLC rocked him with John Wilkes Boot (Running Yakuza Kick to the back of the head)! She covered him and picked up the victory before Noavrra could break it up.
Blood Feast
Backstage. Darkness fills the room somewhere deep within the Warehouse. The camera starts to turn slowly as there’s a light shining and a small fog moves around to the light. The painted face of Manic sits in the fog as she looks around, wildly.
Manic: We are excited to be in the position we are. We are inside the head of both Casey and Lacy. They value the gold and status of the championship within this Empire. Once upon a time Lacy came to this company, all she cared about was havok. Anarchy. Madness. The headline. Now, she grasps at leather and metal. We are here to cause that madness once again. Inserting ourselves into this situation is funny. Casey Grey doesn’t understand it.
Manic laughs and smiles as she plays with her hair.
Manic: Casey, just wanted to play with you and your family. We just wanted to cause a little madness and we’ve done as much. Tonight it will be icing on the cake when we taste blood and gold.
Manic grabs the camera and shakes it as she cackles into laughter.
The Start: We were ready for the second of two BWF championship matches as the fans were treated to the entrance of the challengers, 2 Broke Girls. Jane Harper and Chiaki Sanada came out to the stage and shared a few words while looking around. Once in the ring they moved around and got ready as the Kaiju Krushers, the current BWF Tag Team Champions, came out. Drake Connors and Hayato Sagara-Connors showed off their titles on their way to the ring and held them up when the match was announced. All four competitors stood in the ring as we tried to sort out who would start things off. The bell rang and the two teams started to fight to a roar of cheers!
Gemma Foster: Both these teams are giving the fans here in the Warehouse something to cheer for all while showing how badly they want to walk out of here with the BWF Tag Team Titles.
Drake and Jane were in one corner while Chi-Chi and Hayato were exchanging vicious strikes in the middle of the ring. Hayato landed hard forearms to the face of Chi-Chi before she came back with a throat chop. She was able to bring him down with a drop toe hold and Jane came running over with a blockbuster. The 2 Broke Girls were on their feet and Drake came rushing at them with a double shotgun dropkick that sent them flying backwards. He and Chi-Chi were up and he caught her with his Withering Palm (full force palm strike). Drake and Jane exchanged blows once again and he landed a snapmare and then a dropkick to the back of the head. Drake took control of the match as he and Hayato worked over Jane, tagging in and out often to stay fresh.
The Match: Hayato was in the ring with Jane and he had a sleeper hold lock in tight. She dropped to a knee and tried to get free but was taken down with a sleeper slam. Hayato tagged in Drake who jumped into the ring. They started to set up for a double suplex but Jane countered into a double DDT! Jane crawled over to her corner slowly and made the hot tag to Chiaki as the fans popped for her. Chiaki ran the ropes as Drake and Hayato got up and she took them down with a double clothesline. They both stood again and Chiaki looked to hit them both with a double backfist. Drake ducked it and she just hit Hayato. Drake grabbed Chiaki and delivered a knee to the gut and then followed it with the Demoncast (540 Kick).
Scott Parker: The action is all over the place right now!
Jane was back into the ring and spun Drake around as she delivered a ripcord knee strike. Hayato speared Jane and they both rolled under the ropes. Chiaki crawled to Drake and covered for just two. They got to their feet and exchanged blows in the middle of the ring. Chiaki tried to whip Drake but he countered and delivered a dropkick on her return. Drake pulled Chiaki in as she stood and delivered his Divine Sword (lifting inverted DDT)! He rolled her into a cover and proceeded to get a two count before Jane broke it up. The referee got her out of the ring as Drake tagged out to Hayato. Hayato grabbed Chi-Chi as she tried to make her way to her corner and locked in the BOCK-BA-KAWK! (crossface chickenwing)! Chiaki stomped on his foot to break the hold and then caught him with an enziguri. Chiaki made a tag to Jane and she ran across the ring and knocked Drake off the apron.
The End: Hayato ducked under a clothesline and tried to lock in a sleeper but Jane was able to fight out with elbows to his head. Hayato fell into the ropes as Drake tagged himself in but Jane didn’t see it. Jane hit Hayato with the KO, Bitch! (Kinshasha knee strike) and covered but the referee didn’t count and told her that Hayato wasn’t legal. She looked up and Drake came flying off the top with a double stomp to the back of her head! He covered and Jane kicked out at two. Drake couldn’t believe it but he quickly pulled her to her feet before delivering a suplex. He covered and Chiaki came off the top with her Blue Spiral (Corkscrew Senton Bomb)! Chiaki rolled Jane on top of Drake and fended off Hayato as he tried to get into the ring as we had new champions.
The Aftermath: The fans cheered the two teams from BWF as the new champions celebrated in the ring.
The Madness
Our camera moves to the backstage area as the last match was over and we were shown Lacy Nelson, the EW World Champion, sitting on a bench in one of the locker rooms. She had the room to herself as she was already dressed in her gear, her leather jacket sitting beside her. The World Championship title lays on the ground between her feet.
Lacy Nelson: 63 days ago I defeated FM Young to become a two time World Champion. This championship reign feels different than my first for a few reasons but mainly because I’ve had a demon in my head for most of it. I’ve defeated demons before but this one is as personal as it gets. Manic has the uncanny ability to mess with my head but tonight, tonight I will overcome that demon.
Lacy looks up to the camera and keeps talking.
Lacy Nelson: Casey Grey. I understand your desire to become the World Champion. For years it’s been just out of your reach. I know you believe that it’s because someone has it out for you but I think it’s just fallen that way. Tonight you get that chance and while it might not be the one you think you deserve it’s still more than some ever get. I know you’ll do everything you can to make it count too.
Lacy reaches beside her and grabs her sunglasses and puts them on.
Lacy Nelson: But it won’t be enough. My mind might have been put through a blender over the last couple months but I know exactly who I really am. I am Lacy Nelson. I am the Empire Wrestling World Champion. I. Am. The headline.
Nelson grabs the title from the ground and stands before snatching her jacket and walking out of the room.
The Start: Kaito Hirano came to the stage, by himself, but with a kendo stick. He received boos on his way to the ring as DISHONOR flashed on the jumbotron behind him.
Gemma Foster: Remember. If Kaito can not win the title here tonight, no member of Dishonor will be able to challenge Tia Santos for it again.
The boos turned to cheers as Tia Santos made her entrance. She wore the Extreme Championship strapped across her chest as she stood on the stage. She threw a fist into the air before making her way down. Around the ring were steel chairs, a table, and a trash can for good measure. She jumped onto the apron and Hirano charged and Santos jumped up and caught him with a kick to the face before climbing into the ring. She shredded the title and tossed it to the referee as she speared Hirano to the mat. Hirano quickly countered into a kimura lock attempt as Santos was able to slip free and get to her feet. The two stood across from each other as the fans cheered.
The Match: Santos charged and looked for a headscissors takedown and spun around Hirano multiple times before flipping him down. She rolled to her feet and shook off the dizziness. Hirano climbed up to his feet and she caught him with a handspring pele kick. Santos grabbed the kendo stick that Hirano brought to the ring and cracked it across his back on the mat. He grabbed his back and rolled away and went out of the ring. Santos climbed to the top rope and measured up Hirano before jumping to the outside with the Muerta Caída ([Dead Drop]
Torpedo Plancha)! The fans went crazy as Santos slowly pulled herself up on the barricade and screamed at Hirano. She pulled him up and he fought back and flipped her over and she went back first into the steel steps. Hirano staggered away and grabbed a trash can before moving back to Santos. She was up and he slammed it over her head! Santos staggered and he was able to put the trash can over her head and then grabbed the kendo stick and swung it against the trash can. Hirano backed up and ran, hitting her with a dropkick on the trash can. Santos hit the floor and rolled out of the trash can as Hirano moved around the ring, setting up a table near the ramp.
Gemma Foster: I’m not sure what Kaito has in mind but he’s taking it to the champion right now.
Santos got to her feet as Hirano came back for her and he drove a knee into her gut. The two then exchanged hard blows before Hirano slammed her head off the apron and then he rolled her onto the table. He jumped onto the apron and was prepared to jump and she rolled off the table. Hirano went after her as the two fought up the ramp. Santos caught him with a hard elbow to the jaw that stunned him. After a series of hard chops to Hirano’s chest, Santos spiked him on the top of the ramp with a DDT. Santos started to pull Hirano up and she was attacked from behind by Jason Evans and Austin Scott!
Scott Parker: Oh come on! Dishonor is out here trying to steal this thing from Tia Santos.
Scott and Evans landed clubbing blows on Santos as they took her back down to the ringside area. She started to fight back but Hirano jumped her from behind. They started to stomp on her on the floor as the numbers game was taking a toll. There was some confusion as “Thunder Rolls” by State of Mine feat. No Resolve started to play but cheers started as the new National Champion, Kamila Rose, walked out onto the stage as the music cut out. She had changed her clothes however and had a drastic change in appearance. She had black and white face paint on the lower half of her face as she signaled behind her as a man with long black hair in a black bull luchador mask followed her out.
Gemma Foster: That’s, well that’s Kamila Rose but who is that with her?
Scott Parker: Dishonor has taken notice.
All three members of Dishonor turned to the ramp as Rose and the Bull started to walk down the ramp. Evans charged and ran into a throat chop from the Bull. Scott landed a hard right hand and the Bull just ate it and shook it off. Rose laughed and hit him with a hard slap. The Bull lifted him and delivered a chokeslam through the table!
Gemma Foster: They’re here to even the odds!
The Bull grabbed Evans and powerbombed him onto Scott! Rose and the Bull pulled the men off the rubble and took them to the back to make sure they couldn’t get involved anymore and we were left with Santos and Hirano in the ring. Santos had set up a table in the ring during the distraction on the outside and here came Hirano. Hirano spun Santos around and hit her with the Saigo no Jōsha [Last Ride] (Fisherman Driver)! He covered and got a two count as Santos kicked out. Hirano clubbed Santos and pulled her up. He started to lift her for Dishonored (Burning Hammer GTS) but she was able to fight out and land on her feet. She jumped up and hit a knee to his face. She grabbed him and delivered a reverse Russian leg sweep onto her knee. Hirano got up and looked for his tornado kick but Santos countered with her Danze de los Muertos ([Dance of the Dead] Ducks under a kick by bending backwards and then hits her own chick kick). Santos dove into a cover as the fans counted along and she got a two count.
Scott Parker: So close!
The End: Santos looked at the table she had set up in the ring and rolled out to grab a chair and quickly got back in but Hirano charged and hit Yoi Yume O [Sweet Dreams] (Running Knee to knelt opponent)! He quickly pulled her up and delivered his Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick)! Hirano hooked both legs and the referee jumped into position and Santos barely kicked out before three as the crowd roared. Hirano couldn’t believe it as he started to shout at the referee in Japanese. He pulled Santos up to her feet and lifted her to the top turnbuckle and followed after her. He tried to lift her for Dishonored off the top rope but she fought out with elbow strikes to the head. She grabbed him and hit Sliced Bread #2 as Hirano went through the table!
Gemma Foster: Oh my god!
Santos crawled over to Hirano and covered and got the pinfall.
The Aftermath: Santos pulled herself out of the wreckage and was handed the Extreme Championship as she stood. She threw the title in the air before leaning on the ropes.
Gemma Foster: And with that, Dishonor can no longer challenge for the Extreme Championship while Tia is the champion!
The Start: It was time for the main event of the evening and when it was announced as such, the fans went wild. “Hell’s Bells” kicked up and we first got Casey Grey to the stage. She was solo tonight as she had something to prove. She made her way to the ring before tossing her hat out to ringside. She started to stretch against the ropes right away. “Come for Me” by New Years Day started to play as the lights flashed dark red and blue as Manic came crawling out from a puff of smoke. A fog lined the ramp as she crawled most of the way down and stopped as she looked up at Grey with a smile. Manic rolled into the ring as the lights came up and Grey jumped out of the ring. “Come and Get It” by I Prevail hit as the fans cheered and they were treated to Lacy Nelson, the current World Champion, making her way to the stage.
Gemma Foster: It was one year ago at this exact event where Lacy Nelson won her first World Championship, Scott. She cashed in the Victorem contract and was able to defeat Daniel Daemon. Will she be able to walk away with the gold once again?
Scott Parker: It’s going to be tough. Gemma. The champions advantage goes out the window in a match like this. Not only that, Manic is in the head of Lacy. Casey Grey is also one of the best superstars to step foot into an Empire Wrestling ring. If I’ve done my journalism correctly, Casey Grey hasn’t received a World Title opportunity since September 2019. She’s chopping at the bit to get this started.
Nelson had entered the ring and tried to ignore Manic as she threw her hand in the air and bounced off the ropes. She removed the World Championship from her waist and put it in the air before turning to Manic. Casey Grey climbed into the ring and we got the big announcement of the match. Manic sat in the corner and then rose up when her name was said. The bell rang and the three circled around each other. Nelson jumped at Manic and Grey followed suit as they knocked her into the corner and unloaded with punches. Nelson and Grey backed up and Grey whipped Nelson into Manic and Lacy pulled her out of the corner right into Casey’s Breath Mint (Forearm Smash).
Gemma Foster: And it looks like Casey and Lacy will work together to get Manic out of this match early.
Manic laid on the mat before Grey and Nelson turned to each other, ready to lock up. Manic sat right up and roared to her feet and speared Grey. Manic jumped on her and started to unload punches as Nelson watched on in horror. Manic jumped to her feet and she tackled Nelson into the corner and started to thrust her shoulder into Lacy’s gut. Manic hit her with a big chop and turned to Grey as she stood. Manic charged and hit her with a slingblade. Nelson charged Manic and Manic caught her with a powerslam.
The Match: It was clear that Manic was going at Grey and Nelson fast and furious to try and end things quickly. Manic went to the top rope and wanted to hit Nelson with Crashing Down (Double Foot Stomp) from the top but Nelson rolled out of the way. Manic landed on her feet and rolled through and back up, right into Grey hitting her with a clothesline. Grey turned to Nelson and dropped her with a single leg dropkick. Nelson climbed to her feet and was rocked with the Breath Mint. Grey jumped into a cover and Nelson kicked out at one. Grey pulled Nelson up and landed a big kick to the gut. Grey wanted to hit the GTO (Fisherman Driver) but Manic was there to pull her off Nelson. Manic pulled Grey to the mat by her hair and started to stomp on her.
Scott Parker: Here comes Lacy!
Nelson stepped up to Manic and looked for her Superkick but Manic ducked it. Nelson turned and was lifted and hit with Manic’s Insane in the Membrane (Kneecap Brainbuster)! She covered Nelson and Grey pulled her off just before two. Grey jumped onto Nelson and Manic pulled her right up. Grey hit Manic with a headbutt and the two were both stunned. Nelson was up and she grabbed both women and hit a double cutter! They both crawled into the corner as Nelson jumped to her feet. Nelson pointed at Manic and she charged, hitting her with Thunder Stuck (Corner Hip Attack). Nelson charged and hit Grey with Thunder Struck. Manic started to sit up and she was hit with the Hollywood Split (Shining Wizard) from Nelson! Nelson went into a cover and got two before Grey broke it up with a diving save.
Gemma Foster: All three of these competitors are going to a pin attempt every chance they get.
Grey tried pulling Nelson down for the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface) but she struggled and was able to stay standing for a few moments. Grey finally wrestled Nelson down into the hold and had it locked in tight. Manic came off the top rope and hit Crashing Down! All three competitors were down and slowly got to their feet. Grey pulled herself onto the second ropes and Manic came charging over and hit Splitting Headache (Bicycle Knee Strike)! Manic turned to Nelson and dropped her with a Splitting Headache. Manic sat on the chest of Nelson with a smile that quickly turned sour when Nelson kicked out. Manic crawled quickly to Grey and covered and Grey kicked out at two.
Scott Parker: I think Manic is in shock.
Manic screamed at the referee and started to land hard blows to the head of Grey. Nelson pulled Manic off and Manic raked her in the eyes. Manic whispered something in the ear of Nelson as she froze on the mat and rolled out of the ring. Manic pulled at her hair and paced around the ring as Grey started to stand. Manic charged and ran into a big boot to the face. Grey delivered a German suplex and rolled to her feet as Manic got to hers. Grey flipped Manic down and applied the Torque Wrench (Kneeling Fujiwara Armbar)!
Gemma Foster: This might be it!
The End: Manic laughed as Grey applied more and more pressure. Manic kicked her feet on the mat and refused to tap. Nelson climbed into the ring and caught Grey with a superkick to break it up! Grey fell backwards and Nelson quickly pulled Grey back up and Lacy delivered the Headline (Eat Defeat)! Nelson rolled up Grey into a cover and got two before Grey kicked out to the shock of all the fans. Nelson looked around and pulled her hair away from her face. Manic shouted something at Nelson as she stood and Nelson turned to her. Nelson looked for the superkick but Manic dodged it and countered into Death Inside (Murphy's Law). Manic grabbed Grey and tried to toss her out of the ring but Grey reversed it and sent her over the top and to the floor. Grey dove onto Nelson for a cover and just before three, Manic pulled Grey out of the ring.
Scott Parker: So many close calls!
Manic and Grey started to battle on the outside of the ring as Nelson recovered. Grey looked for a big clothesline but Manic ducked it and looked for the Splitting Headache but Grey moved. Grey lifted Manic up and looked for the Racklash (Rack Attack) but Manic slipped free and then hit Breakneck (Fireman's Carry Neckbreaker). Manic crawled into the ring and measured up Nelson and looked for the Splitting Headache but Nelson rolled out of the way. Nelson was up and caught Manic with the superkick! Manic stumbled up and was hit with Eat Defeat. Grey was pulling herself up onto the apron as Nelson covered Manic but couldn’t break it up in time as Lacy picked up the victory!
Grey pounded the mat with her fists as Nelson was announced the winner. Nelson sat against the ropes and then moved to her knees as she was handed the title. Nelson put the title down and pulled herself up using the ropes. Grey grabbed the title and stood, holding it up in front of her and said a few words to Nelson. Nelson tried to snatch it from her but Grey held on tight. Nelson pulled hard and placed it on her shoulder as the two had a stare down.
