Personal History:
Koji Hamaguchi's Dad was a Movie director, mom was an idol turned Joshi, and while she didn’t have much success, Koji was her biggest fan. They didn’t fit the “traditional” Japanese lifestyle much and he was always an individual who slogged through the stuff he had to do so he could do what he wanted. He started wrestling right out of college and went to the dojo of Rusher Kogo, a Japanese death match legend. He earned his way in with crazy high flying and a willingness to put his body on the line, in his younger days. He broke into the more mainstream scene and refined his style, still very much unique, but with much more solid wrestling. He’s traveled a little, but always stayed in Japan, held some lower level companies' World Titles, won some decent tournaments and had some midcard titles in bigger places, but his rebellious streak has lead to him never staying with one company for more than a few years at a time. He bounces around Japan’s mid level wrestling scene quite a bit, was getting a bit burned out before that old bastard Minoru came around and he’s really looking forward to spending some time in the US.
