Personal History:
The exact manner of how Wil got into professional wrestling is unknown but he was a very athletic young man, playing both basketball and soccer on the President Theodore Roosevelt High School team and eventually Wil would go onto a culinary arts degree at the University of Hawaii at Maui before he set off to begin his training to become a professional wrestler.
Wil was initially trained by Richard "Rick" Vercetti and Kevin "Zell" Hunter in Riverside California before receiving some additional training from Marcus Owens before making his debut for the Universal Wrestling Corporation's "Gold Label Pro" promotion (one of the two "farm" promotions for the bigger UWC) and after a few matches as a singles wrestler, he was put into a team by General Manager Jacob Sikes into a tag team with fellow light heavyweight in the "Terminator" Tim Hunter to form the "Revolution" tag team and on the twelfth of February, twenty seventeen-the team defeated the the "Monster Express" team of Mitsuru Sano and Shinji Kido for the Gold Label Pro tag team titles which they would then go onto hold for the next one hundred and forty five days before eventually dropping them to the "Voodoo Mafia" composed of "Big Daddy Voodoo" Michael Grimm and "Killer" Johnny Corlone.
At the end of their tag title run, Tim Hunter's contract was terminated following a series of problems between Tim and the front office and Wil then briefly began a feud with Jenner of the "Metal Militia" before he left Gold Label Pro due to him being offered better money and wrestling dates.
Starting on October the third of twenty seventeen, Wil started working for the Omega Wrestling Entertainment company, appearing mostly on it "Defiant" brand and he was instantly put into the running for the OWE Internet championship-which was held by but failed to capture it due to the actions of Maverick Spyke of Nick Corvin's "Extraordinary Gentlemen's Organization" or "EGO" faction in the company which would lead to Wil feuding with the faction for the next several weeks with him managing to get pinfall victories over Spyke and Alonzo Mulligan of EGO but he could never get a clean pin for the Internet title.
During this time, Wil would also spend time wrestling in the Junior Heavyweight division of Super Japan Pro Wrestling due to a partnership that OWE had with the Tokyo based promotion and he picked up some very valuable experience while over there which helped to sharpen his in ring skills as well as allow him to take part of several very interesting matches over the years such as being his trainer Ricky Nova's final singles opponent during Nova's retirement show as even earning a spot in the acclaimed A-block of the prestigious "King's Road" tournament, even though he lost his semi-final round to Shinji Kido in a sixteen minute classic, Wil was able to earn the respect of his fellow wrestlers before earning a shot at the SJPW Junior Heavyweight champion and member of the "Vice Kings" unit in Sid Yankun but while he had earned the respect of the elder wrestler, "Boss Sigurd" still ordered the rest of the mafia to take out Wil who was in turned helped by Kevin Renzor and Kaito Kumon, the "VooDoo Towers" tag team, and Uiriamu Minami.
Wil then would spend the rest of his tenure with SJPW working with the three wrestlers until Super Japan ends their contract with the Omega Sports Entertainment Group (the owners of Omega Wrestling Entertainment) but Wil's contract is one of six picked up by Super Japan Pro Wrestling and Wil enters into the twenty nineteen "God of the Super Juniors" tournament in it's B block, managing to fight his way through the entire tournament to eventually defeat both Maverick Spyke and Sid in the tournament finals to earn a much needed moral victory to end his respective histories with both men.
Shortly after his winning of the tournament, Wil was contacted by the strangely named "Bad News Bart" to see if he was interested in working for the developmental side of the Omega Wrestling Alliance in their "Omega Wrestling Tomorrow" territory and Wil accepted, as well as accepting a spot on the roster for OWA affiliate Pro Wrestling Nova as well.
Wil's contract wasn't signed in time for him to be apart of the Omega Wrestling Tomorrow's first major pay-per-view entitled "Uprising-Genesis" but he was invited onto the card as a "special consultant" to help call the massive six man tag team match putting Levi Silvera, Zaxaria, and El Gaucho against Kyle Corey Matthis, and Jacob Striker with Wil highlighting his knowledge of holds and moves throughout the match and he was simply comfortable to call said event until Zaxaria, whom had issues with Wil sitting at ringside for whatever reason, decided to take Wil's drink for himself before smashing the other wrestler in the face. The "Blackheart" then proceeded to leave the commentary table and have a hand in dealing with Zaxaria before leveling him after the match as well.
Wil is now set to make his in-ring debut with OWT on their August 9th card against fellow OWT new arrival Julian Star at the 2300 Arena as well as he is scheduled to face off against indy wrestling icon, CM Nas, in the first round of the OWA Challenge Tournament.
Wil became the first person to be signed to the newly formed Pro Wrestling Nova and even appeared on the very first chapter show "In the Beginning" against both Lash Donohue and Graham Baker in a loosing effort. This would turn out to be one of the many pages in the long standing rivalry between Wil and Graham over the course of the year.
During the events of PWN's third chapter "50 Shades of Pain", Wil took apart of the massive "Black Waltz" match to determine the very first Pro Wrestling Nova World Tag Team champions as he teamed up with his then fellow Phantom Troupe stablemate to represent the faction from Strong Style Wrestling.
Over the course of the next few months, Wil would work hard to not only earn his keep but to also showcase himself against a number of opponents before it was finally announced that he would be facing off against Super Tiger of the Kawaii Trash Pandas tag team at PWN's first pay per view entitled "Genesis" to crown the very first PWN International Junior Heavyweight championship the same weekend that he was also challenging to become the first Strong Style Wrestling Grand Japan champion.
After a very physically demanding match between him and the smaller Joshi, Wil was able to win after hitting the "Knight Rider" after a failed attempt to tag her with the "Sinful Shell" for the pinfall.
While wrapping up his last commitments with New Frontier Wrestling, Wil was approached by representatives of Chairman Oda and Strong Style Wrestling as the company was starting to go through the process of coming back after an almost year long hiatus and signed a semi-exclusive agreement with the company with him being announced as one of the first members of the new roster-alongside Piero, Antonio Antonio, Kai Stevens, Shane Holiday, and the returning Aria Jaxon-the very next week.
While Wil would not win his debut match for the company, he was never far from the title picture having earned chances at then SSW Heritage champion Graham Baker and later yet Kai Stevens' Intercontinental championship, all the while as a member of Aria Jaxon's new generation of the Phantom Troupe alongside KAGUYA, IKIRYO, and Darkane.
While a slightly questionable version of the stable and even though the various members simply fade away (such as the case with IKIRYO) or be "fired" (such as the case of Wil and KAGUYA), Wil made the most of his time as one of the Troupe as he learned what he could from both Aria and Darkane prior to him being removed from the Troupe when Aria brought back the original line up following a "disagreement" with Darkane over how the group was being ran.
During this time Wil would become embroiled into a very heated feud with Graham Baker over everything and anything, the two men having completely clashing yet simliar styles with a self destructive desire to outdo the other made for some of the most impressive matches for Strong Style Wrestling and while Wil would lose most of matches against his erstwhile foe, he was able to time and again show to Baker that he wasn't just going to go away.
Also in an odd quirk of fate, Wil would also find himself in the middle of a feud with fellow wrestler Tony Tony in which Wil would always come out the victor due to his willingness to be much more brutal in the ring than his opponent who preferred style over skill.
Even though he lost both of his major title matches to Graham and Kai respectfully for their titles, Wil was still a very visible member of the SSW roster as he would appear on each and every show, busting his ass for the company and while he seemingly had an issue with Chairman Oda, the fans started to notice a much more positive side to the former "Chrono Trigger of NFW" and this was reflected as the boos that he would always gain in mass quantities slowly but surely started to become cheers with him eventually, through extreme hard work and effort, was accepted by the very critical SSW fans.
Finally on the June 13th edition of SSW television, Chairman Oda announced the creation of the new Strong Style Wrestling Grand Japan championship with Tony Tony and Wil being selected as the two men to square off for the belt, with Tony Tony being the odds on favorite to win due to Wil's past history with title matches in SSW.
The week of Wrestle Spirit was a very successful and tiring one for Wil as he wrestled a day earlier for Pro Wrestling Nova at their first pay per view entitled "Genesis" to become the very first PWN International Junior Heavyweight champion, caught a redeye and made it to Japan for the first night of Wrestle Spirit, where he defeated Tony Tony in a hard fought match to claim the Grand Japan championship as well, despite being bruised and battered from the previous event.
Wil would then go onto be a fighting champion as his first test of his mettle as the Grand Japan champion would come at SSW's "Attack on New York" where he would put the title on the line against bot Jay Jones and Jacob Knight of Graham Baker's "Corsairs" faction.
In another hard fought match, Wil proved himself worthy of holding the title as he was able to take down both of the heavier bruisers, almost loosing the title a number of times until finally Wil found the right moment to hit his Knight Rider DDT on Jacob Knight for the win before moving onto Golden Wind where he would successfully defend the championship again, this time against Sakuya Goto in another hard fought match.
It was around this time that Oda started to send out feelers to see if Wil would be willing to make SST his primary promotion with an exclusive contract but recent news out of the company has put these plans possibly on hold for the time being with Wil set to defend his title against two very tough opponents in the form of Reginald Dampshaw the Third and Arata Asakura on either September 5th where he lost his title under questionable situations that lead to both of his opponents winning the belt from him in what Wil would consider a fluke of a match.
However a few short days later at Pro Wrestling Nova's 10th Chapter show live from Madison Square Garden, Pierce and his long term rival in Graham went to a very physical and brutal war in a No Ropes, Barbed Wire Match that was officiated over by former R*Y*U superstar in Slash. The match was a very violent affair with both men increasingly trying to more violently trying to outdo the other until finally after tying Baker down to a table with barbed wire and then wrapping himself in the same material before hitting an off the top rope move, the match was declared a double knock out due to neither wrestler being able to continue.
Wil would then spend the next few months quietly recovering from the injuries that he had sustained at the hands of Baker, including one that left a rather wicked looking scar around his right eye from where Baker had tried to blind him during their match, but he made a surprise return to SSW during a battle royal to remind people that he was not only still around but also still with the company.
