- Heart of KOKORO (last) - Izumi feuded with Hall of Famer "Mockingbird" Nina Grimsson culminating in her first major title victory. She then defended the belt until KOKORO disbanded.
Personal History:
Izumi made her in-ring debut at age 17 in KOKORO. Despite having a pro wrestling mom and judo sensei dad, she had a very rough first few years. Her small stature made her an easy target for larger opponents who enjoyed bloodying her up. Izumi toughed it out though, sticking with KOKORO until she was the company's top draw winning its top title. In The Pitt, she feuded with Puma Rhyse, she was the damsel in distress again, but feigned a neck injury to get one over on Puma - who reciprocated by dumping a bucket of cow's blood on her. Despite great odds though, Izumi came out victorious in the end. She was recently in BWF and had some good matches with Ursula Areano. More recently, she's been wrestling in Destiny feuding with Kijo, who got into her head pretty quickly.
