Episode #87 - June 25, 2022
Gio DeLuca Vs. Austin Scott Vs. Hanako
The show kicked off with a three way match as the bell rang. Scott locked up with DeLuca and quickly applied a hammerlock. Hanako ran the ropes and hit him with a clothesline to break the hold. Scott slammed Hanako down with a spinebuster before hitting a discus clothesline to DeLuca. It was clear that Scott had the power advantage as he tore through DeLuca and Hanako. DeLuca put his thumb in the eye of Scott and Hanako took Scott down with a headscissors takedown. DeLuca hit Hanako with a German suplex and went to the second rope. He looked for Bite Your Tongue (Jumps off 2nd rope to DDT) but Scott powered him up to a brainbuster. Scott picked DeLuca up and hit Booze Cruisin' (Oklahoma Slam). Scott went for a cover but it was broken up by Hanako. Hanako and Scott started to exchange chops and she had to duck a lariat and she clobbered Scott with an elbow to the back of the head. She took him down with a floatover DDT and was fired up. Hanako went to the top and took DeLuca down with a crossbody and rolled to her feet. Scott charged and she lifted him up and over to the apron. She charged and took him down with a dropkick that sent him back into the barricade. DeLuca looked for a clothesline on Hanako and she countered into a crucifix bomb and covered for three!

Aislin Finn Vs. Alicia Monroe
The BWF Sovereign Champion, Finn, was ready to start the match with Monroe. The two locked up and Monroe quickly slammed Finn to the mat and tried to lock in an armbar but Finn was able to roll forward and get free. Finn charged and looked for her Crann Tabhaill (Springboard Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick) but Monroe dodged it and went right into a German suplex. Finn flipped behind Monroe and landed on her feet. Finn grabbed Monroe from behind but she was flipped over to the mat. Monroe tried to stomp but Finn rolled away and to her feet. The fans were cheering as the two kept exchanging counters. Monroe landed a running knee strike and started to take control of the match. Monroe hit a snap suplex and started to try and wear down Finn. Monroe delivered her Freebird (Running Bulldog) and looked to the top rope. She climbed and looked for Phoenix Dive (Swanton Bomb) but Finn got her knees up. Finn was up and delivered her Madra Rua (Running Crossbows to Seated Opponent). Finn got the fans behind her as she clapped and stood. She pulled Monroe up and delivered a series of strikes before hitting a spinning backfist. Finn then set Monroe up and hit Bogha (Rope Assisted Killswitch) before covering for a pinfall.

Kasey Kash Vs. Harper Blake
This match was not contested under Extreme Division rules but Kash made sure to push the title in Blake’s face as the match was announced. The two quickly came to blows as they exchanged hard chops and strikes. Blake flipped Kash down and looked to penalty kick his head off but she missed and he rolled her up for one. Blake popped up and caught Kash with a boot to the face that staggered him into a corner. Blake landed a series of clotheslines and elbows to drop Kash to the mat before she delivered the Facial (Running Facewash). Blake covered but couldn’t get three. Kash tried to fight back but Blake kept striking. He started to unload hard rights and landed a vicious headbutt. Blake tried to send him into the ropes and he came back with Canberra Collapse (Springboard Cutter). Kash thought it was over as he covered and got two before she kicked out. The pace slowed for a few moments as Kash started to pick Blake apart. He eventually lifted her up and hit Method to the Madness (Fireman's Carry Roundhouse Kick). Kash measured her up for the Going The Distance (Last Shot/Shining Wizard) but Blake had him scouted and was able to duck it. She was up and charged before hitting the CMS (Quasedora Flipping Facebuster). She went to the top and connected with DDS (Diving Double Stomp)! She covered and Kash kicked out just before three. Blake tried to lift Kash for a Falcon Arrow but he countered into a suplex of his own. He ducked a clotehsline and delivered Fuck Your and All Your Friends (Ripcord Bicycle Knee).
Kash pointed at Blake as he wanted to hit Going the Distance but the lights went out. When they came back up, Blake was holding her knee on the outside as the referee checked on her. Manic was standing in the ring. Kash turned and she delivered Splitting Headache (Bicycle Knee Strike) with a chain wrapped around her knee. Kash collapsed as Manic rolled out of the ring and Blake crawled in as she held her knee. She covered and picked up a shocking pinfall.

Manic slid backwards on all fours as she smiled and stayed on her knees. Kash started to come to as he realized Manic was on the outside. He started to curse at her as the lights went out and she was gone when they came up.
Marilyn Lee Cross & The 323 (Alejandro Torres & Miguel Perez) Vs. Gabrielle Montgomery & Heroes Never Die (Crimson Ghost & “Jew Blazer” Josh Goldstein)
This 6 person tag team match had combustion written all over it as the 323 were itching to get their hands on the Empire Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Crimson Ghost and Perez started this match and tried to use his brawling style to hammer on Ghost. Perez landed a few hard blows and an arm drag. Ghost popped up and hit a shotgun dropkick that launched Perez into the corner. Goldstein tagged in and came rushing over with a crossbody. Goldstein tried to run the ropes and was hit with a forearm to the back of the head from Torres as the fans booed. Perez tagged in Torres and the big man tossed Goldstein around. Torres slammed Goldstein to the mat with a full nelson slam. Torres and Perez kept tagging in and out to work over Goldstein. Cross tagged in and landed a few kicks on Goldstein and moved around the ring. She took him down with a tiger suplex. Ghost and Montgomery tried to get Goldstein back in it with claps. Cross grabbed his foot and he landed an enziguri and made a hot tag to Montgomery. She hit the ring and took down the Primetime Champion with a running uppercut. She turned and hit Torres off the apron with an enziguri. Montgomery hit the ropes and ran into a forearm smash from Cross. Cross hit the ropes and Perez tagged himself in and jumped into the ring.
Perez grabbed Montgomery for a Russian legsweep and she landed elbows to get away. She delivered the GaBuster (reverse Lungblower) and made a tag to Ghost. Ghost took Perez down with his Scarlet Skull Splitter (Springboard Forearm Smash)! Ghost went into a cover but Torres pulled him out of the ring. Torres tossed Ghost hard into the barricade. Goldstein charged and took Torres out with a somersault plancha! Perez rolled his partner into the ring and leaned over the ropes and tagged himself in. Ghost climbed into the ring and Cross tagged herself in off Perez. The two shared a few words and Ghost used the opening to hit Perez with a spinning back kick and then Red Dead Removal (Buzzsaw roundhouse kick to head of kneeling opponent)! Cross delivered Catch Your Breath (Striking Spear) and popped up to her feet. She lifted Ghost up to her shoulders for Do A Barrel Roll (Cartwheel Death Valley Driver). Ghost struggled and was able to reach out to Mongomery for a tag. Cross hit Do a Barrel Roll on Ghost and made a tag to Torres. Montgomery quickly hit him with the Double D-DT (Future Shock DDT) and covered. Goldstein grabbed the leg of Cross and she couldn’t make the break in time for a three count!

Cross was livid and hit in shock as she rolled out of the ring and grabbed her Primetime Championship. Montgomery pointed at her and called for the belt around her waist before celebrating with the Tag Team Champions.
Tia Santos Vs. Kayla Taylor
We made it to the main event as the EW World Champion, Tia Santos, stood across the ring from Kayla Taylor. The match was about to start and “Lights Out” by POD kicked up and AJ Adams walked out and made his way to the ring for commentary. Santos had her eyes locked on him in disgust before the bell rang. Santos and Taylor locked up and each tried to take the other day before Santos tripped Taylor up with a drop toe hold. Taylor popped up and flipped Santos down with an arm drag. Santos rolled to her feet and hit a reverse Russian leg sweep onto her knee. Santos attacked Taylor and didn’t let her get back into the match. Santos connected with a swinging neckbreaker and made sure to look out to AJ Adams as she stood. Taylor started to stand and was rocked with a hard chop to the chest as she backed into a corner. Santos charged and looked for a cartwheel splash and connected. She then looked for a bulldog but Taylor countered into a backdrop driver. Taylor tried to battle back with two suplexes in a row and hit a Michinoku Driver for a third. She covered and Santos easily kicked out at two.
Santos got back to her feet and Taylor looked for a butterfly suplex but Santos spun away. Santos jumped up took Taylor down with a headscissors. Taylor got back up quickly and Santos was there to caught her with a DDT. The two went back and forth with strikes before Taylor looked for a clothesline that Santos bend back and ducked before Taylor turned around and was hit with the Danze de los Muertos ([Dance of the Dead] Bends to dodge a blow and delivers a Chick Kick before finishing with a dancing spin with her arms out). Santos went into a cover and had two before Taylor kicked out. Santos started to go to the top but Taylor was there. Taylor tried to pull Santos down with a German from the top but Santos landed hard elbows to the head. Santos turned and hit a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope! Santos covered and almost had three before Taylor kicked out. On commentary, AJ Adams gave props to Santos and said that’s why he couldn’t wait to face her, after Casey Grey chickens out of their match. Grey had heard enough backstage and stormed her way to the ring and started to brawl with Adams on the outside. This distraction gave Taylor an opening to roll Santos up and almost shocked everyone but only had a two count. Taylor delivered a Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes) and pulled Santos up and wanted to hit another but Santos was able to turn herself and hit a northern lights suplex. She bridged and flipped over and picked Taylor up before hitting Beso de Muerte ([Kiss of Death] Dream DDT) and covered for three!
