EXTREME DIVISION MATCH
Gio DeLuca Vs. Austin Scott
The Start: Gio DeLuca started to make his way down to the ring first and was attacked from behind by Austin Scott and Jason Evans. They roughed DeLuca up on the stage and tossed him into the set. Scott lifted DeLuca to his shoulder and carried him to the ring. Kaito Hirano started to slowly make his way down to the ring.
The Match: Evans rolled into the ring and hit DeLuca with a kendo stick as Scott was pulling out a table and he slid it into the ring. He then grabbed a chair and climbed inside while Evans kept attacking DeLuca. Scott lifted and dropped DeLuca onto the steel chair with the Ace in the Hole (Rikishi Driver) and covered him.
The End: Scott pulled DeLuca off the apron at two as he and Evans laughed and the fans booed. Evans had set up the table near the corner and Scott started to pull DeLuca over to it. DeLuca tried to right back and landed lefts and rights to both Evans and Scott! DeLuca hit Evans with a headbutt but was rocked inside out with the Straight Whiskey (Running Lariat). Scott rolled DeLuca onto the table while Evans climbed. Evans jumped and drove himself through DeLuca on the table with the Overdrive (630 Splash). Scott covered DeLuca for the three.
WINNER: Austin Scott via pinfall @ 5:03
The Aftermath: Kaito Hirano had climbed into the ring and Evans and Scott lifted DeLuca up to his knees and then his feet. Hirano lifted DeLuca up and hit Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick). He rolled onto DeLuca as Scott counted a three count for a fake pinfall. Hirano stood and he pretended to strap on a championship around his waist, sending a message to Tia Santos.
National Opportunity
After the last match the cameraman walks along the hallway down to the Santos/Rose Locker room. He knocks at the door gently, figuring they were busy getting ready and what not when the door suddenly flies open. The Cameraman steps through curious, as the door immediately slams behind him and vanishes into the darkness. The place in front of him goes from Shadows to more so a dark world at night where there is a lantern to his left, which he picks up. He begins following the path towards what looked like a garden in the middle of the area as two figures were standing looking up at the moon. He did not recognize the first but the second, he immediately recognized as Kamila Rose, as he pulled out the envelope he was carrying. Kam lifted her hand immediately as the cameraman approached her putting the letter in her hand, as she looked over at Tia.
Kamila Rose: Such a perfect moment ruined by the man who entered here, don’t you think Mi Amor?
The second figure with Kamila turns towards the camera. It’s here that Kamila’s statement confirms her identity. Tia Santos, Empire’s Extreme Champion, looks down at the envelope her beloved has been handed. She turns towards her, silently; her face is completely concealed under her sugar skull design while her off the shoulder black dress flows out around her feet. The title she possesses rests on her shoulder. She doesn’t answer Kam verbally, yet. Instead, she lifts her eyes to the cameraman, silently scolding him for his intrusion, before looking down at the envelope, waiting for Kamila to open it and reveal its contents.
Kamila, rips the top of the envelope open, as she holds up the letter to the moonlight for a moment as she motioned the cameraman forward, stealing the lantern from him, reading the letter he gave her. She smiled as she handed it to Tia, then looked at the cameraman. Her black leather jacket resting upon her shoulders with her black leggings and black shirt.
Kamila Rose: It’s kind of funny for those who wait for things to come. See I’ve never had an opportunity at a singles championship, ever. I am a former Dual Star Champion in my own right, but to get an opportunity like this does not come often.
Tia looks closer at the letter in Kam’s hand and her skull painted lips curl into a satisfied smirk. As always, she speaks in Spanish, but viewers are given subtitles.
Tia Santos: The National Championship. How wonderful.
Her smirk widens to a grin directly at her fiance before the scowls into the camera.
Tia Santos: It is long overdue that Kamila’s talents and potential were recognized. This is an opportunity she should have been given upon setting foot within the company. Much like I was. As all have seen….
Tia pauses, looking down at the gold and leather strap on her shoulder, then back up at the camera.
Tia Santos: I made good on the opportunity given. I have it in good faith that my love will do the same with hers.
As Tia says this, she reaches up, brushing Kamila’s cheek with the backs of her fingers.
Kamila Rose: I haven’t had much time to think on it, as you’ve just handed me the letter. But what the title win means to me, is that I am finally vindicating that I am not just a tag team wrestler. It can show that I will be standing upon my own. To win the National Title, also means that there will be a power couple for the first time in Empire. Tia is right though, I will make sure that the opportunity handed to me, is not going to be squandered. It is gonna be taken with full effect, and those who are in my way will learn that I am not just an innocent by-stander, their going to learn that sometimes you gotta play rough, to get the thing you want.
Kam laughs as she looked over at the camera. She looked over at Tia, as she takes the cover off the lantern taking the letter from her, lighting it on fire, as she whispered something into her ear, that the cameraman would not hear.
As Tia listens, a dark smile slowly forms on her lips again as she turns her eyes back to the camera.
Tia Santos: Ah, yes. We are both well aware of the forces in play that would see this opportunity squandered for my beloved, here. So, too, are we aware of my own predicament. Kaito Hirano, you have been...to say a thorn in my side would not do it justice but I shall not waste more breath on you than I have to. This is your final opportunity. If you fail yourself, you fail your brethren who look to you. And you will, Hirano. You *will* fail, because while you believe you have your own assurance in Dishonor to help you see this through? Rest assured, Kamila and I….
Tia reaches and takes one of Kam’s hands.
Tia Santos: ...we have a little insurance policy of our own.
Kam lifted her free hand as she waved her finger gently at the cameraman. She had her thought as to what was coming, so she did not want to ruin the surprise for Dishonored. She then laughed as she turned to him.
Kamila Rose: I think it’s time for him to go, he’s heard too much. Dishonor might have a plan by that point…
Almost surprisingly, Tia breaks from her usual coldness seen on camera and laughs out loud, tilting her head back. She takes Kam by the chin, turning the woman’s head towards her and leans in. Tia places a long, deep kiss on Kam’s lips before shaking her head and stroking her cheek.
Tia Santos: My dear? Dishonor has no idea what we have in store for them. Trust in me….
With that said, Tia gives a final scowl to the camera before looking right at the lantern. She leans in and exhales sharply, blowing out the flame and shrouding the screen in blackness, ending the scene.
The Kingslayers Vs. The 323
The Angle: This match got started backstage as Junji and Mr. Fixit were brawling with Torres and Perez. Their brawl spilled into an area where the Tag Team Champions, Angel Kash and Summer Page were taking promotional pictures. The Social Elite jumped into the brawl as trainers came to separate the three teams. As the Kingslayers were escorted out of the room they turned right into Daniel Daemon and Josh Goldstein talking to Sara Logan backstage. The fans erupted as they started to brawl and had to be quickly pulled apart!
The Saint
The Angle: In the backstage area we saw AJ Jenkynx just moments before his match. He was pacing back and forth as he turned to the camera. He stopped and took a deep breath.
AJ Jenkynx: Last time you saw me I was “the Sinner”. Now, I’m the “Fallen Saint”. The reason why I changed is because I ask for forgiveness from everybody. I know I did some things that made you not like me much. But I never asked you guys for forgiveness. This year, I’m becoming a better person and a better wrestler. So to all of ya here and at home I’m asking for your strength. With that said, I’m excited to announce that I’m in this National Champion Scramble. There’s great wrestlers in the match, some I faced before and some I haven’t. Like the champion Kasey Kash for example. I just faced him in OATH. But he had help from his group. But now and I mean now I will not disappoint you all. When I get in that ring just know that I’m doing this for the crowd. I want to hear ya yelling my name. With your strength I should be able to become the new EW National Champion. Everything’s going to change. And after I win this title I will celebrate with all of you. I’m a new person who’s determined and who’s ready. So I see you all soon.
AJ made his way to the stage for his match.
NATIONAL DIVISION MATCH
Kayla Taylor Vs. AJ Jenkynx
The Start: Kayla Taylor was already in the ring as AJ Jenkynx made his way out to the stage. Jenkynx started to climb inside and flipped his hair back and threw his arms out to pose for the fans and was immediately attacked from behind by Taylor as the fans booed. Kayla stomped on AJ wildly as she shouted at him. The referee tried to pull her away and she kept stomping as he rolled out of the ring. Taylor shouted at the referee as Jenkynx took a moment to recover and climbed back into the ring.
The Match: Taylor speared Jenkynx to the mat and popped to her feet. She stalked AJ as he started to stand and pulled him in for a DDT. AJ was able to push her away and then hit a spinning heel kick and then went right into a Russian leg sweep as she spun around. AJ rolled to his feet and looked for a jumping senton but Kayla moved out of the way. AJ started to get to his knees and Kayla hit him with the Plan A (Shining Wizard)! She went into a cover and AJ kicked out at two. Kayla pulled AJ to his knees and hit the Stamp It Out (Superkick to opponent on knees). She tried to roll him up again and he kicked out at one. AJ powered to his feet and she looked for a clothesline but AJ kicked her arm away with a pump kick. He then caught her with a buzzsaw kick and then a release style German suplex. He went to the corner and came flying off with a diving headbutt to her stomach.
The End: AJ went right into a cover but Kayla was able to kick out at two. AJ pulled her to her feet and set her up for a powerbomb but she countered into a hurricanrana and pinned his shoulders to the mat for two. Both competitors were on their feet and AJ delivered a falcon arrow and went right into his Saint's Gates (Rings Of Saturn Submission) and forced a submission!
WINNER: AJ Jenkynx via submission @ 13:44
The Aftermath: AJ celebrated in the ring for a few moments before heading to the back.
The Clown
The Angle: Kevin Olson walks up to Alicia Monroe, who is standing in front of the locker room doors. Alicia looks up and rolls her eyes.
Kevin Olson: Come on, Alicia. I need to talk to Casey.
Alicia Monroe: Nope. What you need to do is leave. Casey doesn’t give interviews under these conditions.
Kevin Olson: What do you mean, conditions? There are no conditions. I just need to…report on this match.
Alicia Monroe: You’re not getting it, Kev. Just like I told you before. You walk into that room, you might not come out. She don’t like being treated like a circus performer and nobody blames her.
Kevin Olson: Circus performer? Alicia, what do you mean? That’s crazy! Nobody is treating Casey that way.
Alicia shakes her head and crosses her arms.
Alicia Monroe: Oh my god, you really have no idea. Okay, I’m going to tell you. Did you see the battle royal? Did you see her match with Harper Blake? Now, Casey’s title shot is hanging on a match with Manic? It’s just like the whole thing with the Primetime Title when she had to practically beat everyone on the roster to prove she deserved a shot at the title she was holding before the company closed the first time. You people should just dress her up in a clown suit and give her a funny horn every time she goes to the ring.
Kevin looks like he’s about to say something, but Alicia steps back behind Karli and Annabelle.
Alicia Monroe: No, no more talking. We don’t have anything left to discuss. You need to go away. Just…go away before I have Annabelle or Karli do something you might regret.
Annabelle takes a threatening step towards Kevin.
Annabelle Daboia: Don’t even have to ask.
Kevin Olson backs away.
Kevin Olson: Okay, okay! I’m leaving. But you’re wrong Alicia. Nobody feels that way.
Alicia Monroe: Casey does. Nobody else matters. Leave faster.
Kevin Olson backs out of the frame.
Noavrra Vs. Harper Blake
The Match: Harper Blake and Noavrra were ready to square off and sadly, this match was a quick one due to an injury. Noavrra and Blake came to blows and locked up and Noavrra started to take control early with a headlock takedown. Blake rolled up to her feet and was clotheslined over the top rope and she landed on the apron. Noavrra charged but ran into a kick to the head as Blake leaned back and held the ropes. Blake readied herself as she was going to jump in through the second and top rope but Noavrra turned and kicked her off the apron with a side step and Blake went flying hard into the barricade and grabbed onto her shoulder. Trainers checked on her and she said that she was fine but she was clearly in pain.
The End: She climbed into the ring and Noavrra flipped her to the mat with an arm drag and then held onto the arm. She rolled Blake to her stomach and held her arm out and sat on where the arm and shoulder met and Blake started to tap out quickly.
WINNER: Noavrra via submission @ 6:04
The Aftermath: Noavrra started to celebrate as trainers checked on Blake. Noavrra was attacked from behind by Outlaw as the fans booed. Noavrra and Outlaw went blow for blow before being pulled apart. Sara Logan came out and made the announcement that at Next Level: Revolution we’d see Noavrra and Outlaw challenge for the Primetime Championship as Marilyn Lee Cross would defend in a triple threat match.
NATIONAL DIVISION MATCH
Meg Coleman Vs. Kamila Rose
The Start: Coleman and Rose stood across from each other in the ring and started to talk back and forth about the upcoming Scramble match at Next Level: Revolution. Rose landed the first blow with a hard chop to Coleman. Coleman came back with a stiff clothesline that backed Rose into the ropes. Rose rolled forward and ducked under another clothesline. Coleman turned right into a dropkick and hit the mat and rolled out of the ring. Rose climbed to the top turnbuckle and dove onto Coleman with a splash as the fans roared.
The Match: Rose started to take control of the match as she rolled Coleman into the ring. Rose hit a picture perfect northern lights suplex and rolled to her feet before hitting a second. Rose wanted to deliver a corner powerbomb but Coleman came down on her feet and then hit Rose with a reverse atomic drop. Coleman drove Rose to the mat with a belly to belly slam. Rose started to stand and Coleman rocked her with the Meg Kick (Standing Kick to Head). Coleman went for a cover but Rose was able to kick out at two. Coleman pulled Rose up by her hair and tossed her into the corner and started to unload with a series of lefts and rights to the sides. A big clothesline in the corner made Rose stagger out of the corner. This allowed Coleman to hit a capture suplex and she flipped Rose back first into the corner. Coleman pulled Rose out of the corner and covered and Rose used her first rope break to break the cover. Coleman quickly tried to put Rose into the Ouch (Ankle Lock). Rose was able to roll forward to break the hold and it sent Coleman face first into a turnbuckle. Rose rolled Coleman up with a pin and got a two count before Coleman kicked out.
The End: Coleman popped to her feet and looked for the Superwoman Punch and Rose was able to dodge. Rose hit a backbreaker lungblower and rolled right into the Black Rose (Banks Statement)! Coleman struggled and looked to be close to tapping out but was able to get the bottom rope for her first rope break. Rose sat for a few moments and climbed to her feet. Coleman slowly stood and readied herself with her fists up. Rose approached and Coleman landed a series of strikes. Rose backed into a corner and Coleman drove her knee into Rose’s gut. Coleman lifted Rose to the top rope and wanted a superplex. Rose started to battle and struggle to get free. Both competitors stood on the top and hit the Rose Clipper (Spanish Fly)! Rose hooked both legs and picked up the pinfall.
WINNER: Kamila Rose via pinfall @ 16:33
The Aftermath: We got a graphic showing the entrants of the Championship Scramble match for the National Championship. Kasey Kash was set to defend against Meg Coleman, Kamila Rose, AJ Jenkynx, and one more unnamed competitor.
#1 CONTENDERSHIP
EW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Casey Grey Vs. Manic
The Start: Casey Grey was accompanied to the stage by the rest of Hell’s Belles for the match. Grey said something to each and they made their way to the back. She turned back to the ring and made her way down. “Come For Me” by New Years Day started to play as Manic crawled to the stage as dark green lights flashed. She threw her arms back as she laughed and climbed to her feet. With both competitors in the ring the match was set to get started. Manic offered Grey the first blow. Grey hit a hard right hand that Manic ate right in the jaw and just started to laugh. Casey Grey started to unload a few quick chops to the chest that Manic just kept laughing at. Grey hit a kick to the gut and ran the ropes before coming back with a dropkick to the side of the head of Manic. Grey started to pull Manic up and Manic hit her with a headbutt and a chop of her own. Manic was sent into the ropes by Grey but Manic came back with a slingblade.
The Match: Manic threw her body around with running sentons and sliding forearms to Grey as she started to take control. Manic’s erratic style didn’t allow for Grey to have many opportunities. A spinning backfist from Manic to the side of the head seemed to stun Grey. Manic hit a release German suplex and crawled over to Grey before covering with a grin but only got one. Manic slapped Grey in the face and then went to the top rope. She looked for Cashing Down (Double Foot Stomp) but Grey moved and Manic rolled through to her feet. She turned and Grey was there with the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash)! Manic dropped and Grey went on the offensive. Manic was pulled up and sent into the ropes where Grey hit a spinebuster and grabbed the legs of Manic before flipping over for a pin. Manic kicked out at two where she then flipped Grey into a seated pin. Grey popped up at one and sat on the chest of Manic and got a one count before she kicked out. Both competitors got to their feet and Manic was hit with a lariat that sent her into the corner. Grey charged and hit a big corner splash and then looked for a running bulldog but Manic lifted her and dumped her over the top rope and dropped her to the floor. Manic jumped to the apron and hit a running apron kick that connected with Grey’s head! Manic climbed down slowly and Grey was slightly busted open. Manic licked Grey’s forehead and pushed her down as Grey started to crawl away. Grey stumbled to her feet and ducked a clothesline. Grey grabbed Manic from behind and delivered the Copperhead Road (Cobra Clutch/Single Knee Backstabber)! Grey pulled herself back up and slid into the ring as the referee counted.
The End: Grey was able to wipe away the little bit of blood left on her head as Manic was down on the outside. The referee was to the count of seven and Manic started to pull herself into the ring and rolled inside. Manic was up and Grey hit her with the GTO (Fisherman Driver) and covered for a pinfall and got two before Manic kicked out. Grey immediately went into the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface) as Manic desperately reached for the ropes but couldn’t make it. Grey screamed at her to tap and Manic got a foot under herself and was able to roll forward to break the hold and they were both on their feet. Grey looked for the Breath Mint but Manic grabbed her and hit the Insane in the Membrane (Kneecap Brainbuster)! Manic covered and Grey kicked out at two! Manic started to pull Grey back up and Casey speared her through the ropes. The referee tried to get them back into the ring but they started to fight up the ramp. Once at the top, Manic looked for the Splitting Headache (Bicycle Knee Strike) but Grey side stepped it. Grey grabbed Manic and lifted her up and delivered the GTO off the stage through tables and boxes! The fans were going wild and the referee hit a ten count as both were counted out!
WINNER: DOUBLE COUNTOUT @ 19:08
The Aftermath: Trainers and EMTs rushed out to check on both Manic and Grey but the lights went out for a few moments and once they came back up, Grey was by herself. Hell’s Belles came out and helped Casey stand and refused to let trainers look at her. They helped her back up to the stage and the lights went out once again. They came up and Alicia Monroe was downed and Karli Frost and Annabelle Daboia were engaged in a fist fight with Manic. Manic tossed Frost off the stage and she landed and rolled, slow to get up but seemingly okay. Manic hit Daboia with the Splitting Headache! Manic grabbed a chair she brought out and put Casey’s ankle in it and was set to stomp as referees warned her off. The fans popped as Lacy Nelson came rushing out and attacked Manic. Manic jumped off the opposite side of the stage and quickly made an exit through the back. Nelson checked on Grey who gave her a small shove as she stood, not wanting her help. Hell’s Belles all came together on the stage and stood across from Lacy Nelson. Sara Logan appeared on the jumbotron and announced that since we didn’t have a winner, Lacy would defend the World Title at Next Level: Revolution in a triple threat match against both Manic and Casey Grey. The fans cheered as we faded to black to end the night.
