Personal History: Sebastian Sharpe was born into the infamous Sharpe clan. He was brought into the business young and trained in the family basement where he was physically abused and tormented and even neglected by his own family. The Sharpe family is well known, birthing the best wrestlers on the planet, but with that legacy comes the behind the scenes struggles. Sebastian ran away at a young age, trying to escape the life of torture in a business he never even wanted to be a a part of.
Sebastian fled to the US where he made money dealing drugs. This was his first taste of substance abuse. He used it as a way to escape into another reality. First there was the drugs, then there was the underground fight clubs to make some extra money. Sebastian wasn’t the best fighter, but due to his childhood in the Sharpe Family Basement, he was tough as nails. Things turned for the worse though when a fight went south and Sebastian drew a knife, something he always was fond of and could always be seen playing with, a switchblade, and stabbed another fighter repeatedly. Sebastian was charged with attempted murder. A nine year sentence that he served before getting out.
After his first arrest he would be picked up by his mother, a well known British-Canadian wrestler. He was brought back to Canada and his family tried to “save him” by bringing him back into the world of wrestling. Sebastian was now more involved, but the training brought back memories of his childhood and he soon fled back to the states once again to escape his family.
Sebastian would spend the next few years in and out of jails with various charges including drugs, assault, and theft. One thing always remained in his life. He could not escape the wrestling world. It drew him back cuz he was good at it. He had a passion, but wanted to stay far from his family. He embraced his street name, Switchblxde becoming his only name.
In 2020 the Sharpe family called for his return to Canada. Switchblxde only agreeing for the sake of his cousin, Rocco aka Michael Sharpe. The only bit of family that he embraces and protects. Switchblxde would eventually give in, training in the Sharpe dungeon he despised for years again. He would team with his cousin, Rocco aka Michael Sharpe, as they began a epic run on the Independent scene as the Runways.
SWITCHBLXDE would turn his back on the Sharpe Family in early 2021 in a shocking turn of events. With the help of Kasey Kash and Bert Cocaine they formed the Murk Squad and vowed to change the wrestling game violent. This would introduce a new SWITCHBLXDE, one that is angry and fed up with being the "good guy" and listening to the Sharpe Family. But the past got ahold of SWITCHBLXDE as he was arrested on drug charges and put back into the system once again.
After a short stint in jail dealing with conspiracy drug charges, SWITCHBLXDE made bail and was released. He jumped directly back into the business,the only thing he knows how to do.
February 2022 was a hard month for Sebastian. A call would come through changing the very direction of his life. His Mother, the only person he truly cared for, was dying. He didn’t know what to do and dropped everything to rush back to Canada to be with her. It was on her death bed that she revealed the identity of his Father, semi-retired pro wrestler Phillip Kelly aka Kuk Killswitch. Killswitch laid with his mother through her final days, being there as she took her last breath. Sebastian was resilient at first, but soon saw the love he had for his mother despite the years of abandonment. Sebastian began a relationship with his father, growing to actually get along with the man.
Now partially training with his Father, Sebastian has a new lease on life. Hopeful to take the mantle of his Father, Sebastian has grown his brand into something fresh.
