Liam Stewart: We are live in Grand Rapids, Michigan for Sunday Night Shockwave! The Happenstance Tournament continues tonight, as three more wrestlers will qualify for the pay-per-view event. Plus, the Glorious Bastards reunite, as World Champion Johnny Maverick and new Intercontinental Champion Ollie Linkoln take on Nessa Wall and Vanessa Page in tonight's main event!
Riley Rouse: But we're kicking things off with a grudge match, as Emily Corlen of the Super Smash Sisters takes on Helena Handbasket of the Two Cans. Let's go Helena!
SINGLES MATCH
Emily Corlen vs. Helena Handbasket
The lights in the arena dim, a gold spotlight shines down on the ramp as the screen lights up with a massive charging bull running straight ahead almost ready to burst through the tron when the lights go completely out as “Get Up On My Level” by Mike Zombie Ft. Aja Elan begins to play. Gold lights flash to the beat with the first words of the song proclaiming “I'm a legend, I'm a god” as the single spotlight shines down on an absolutely hulking figure in a sleeveless black hooded robe trimmed in gold, flanked by two beautiful women in small gold metallic bikinis, with thin diamond-encrusted gold chain style jewelry around their waists.
Liam Stewart: Time for our next Happenstance match and our first competitor Taurus making quite the debut.
Riley Rouse: Calling this a little over the top would be an understatement.
Nicholas Grayson: The man planned to turn heads and being flanked by Juliana Mendoza of THE Beautification Movement on his right and Holly Guacamole on his left, is one way to do just that.
As the music picks up, TAURUS throws his head back and stretches his arms out, gold pyro erupting as the hood flies back off his head. Juliana and Holly each take an arm as the trio make their way down to the ring, the spotlight following them the whole way. When they reach the end of the ramp, Holly and Juliana head up the stamps and move to either side as he hops right up onto the apron and steps over the top rope. He turns and holds the ropes open for the lovely ladies before e moves to the middle of the ring as the chorus kicks in
Get up on my level dawg it's time to level up
Money, power, greed, no y'all just can't get enough
Flexin' on my enemies
Now I've reached the pinnacle
He stands in the spotlight and spins showing off his fancy new ring jacket a bit. He stands in the spotlight, flexes, and then Holly grabs the left side of his robe as Juliana grabs the right and they pull his robe open to show off his impressive physique. He basks in the spotlight and attention for a few more seconds before his music fades out and the lights return to normal. Holly and Juliana each kiss his cheek for luck before they make their exit, heading to the back as TAURUS takes a mic, wanting to take even more time and focus for himself.
TAURUS: Hello Grand Rapids, Michigan. I want you all to stand up and give yourselves a round of applause. Come on, tonight you find yourselves in the most envious position in the World. Somehow despite living in a dull dingy little town like this, tonight you find yourselves among a select group of people. All of you in this arena tonight will be the only people that can say they watched the beginning of the rise of THE Big Bull. You lot will be the only people to say they were there when TAURUS started his ascent to the BWF World title. All of you lucky little plonkers are the only people that can say they witnessed the first of many many victories for THE Advanced Athlete as he started his run of dominance in the Happenstance tournament.
The crowd is very audible with the dislike of the large British athlete. Quite a few are giving him the one-finger salute, many others are calling him an asshole, and through it all, he just smiles.
TAURUS: You lot rooting for Petra Vasquez than? I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. What do they call this place? The land of lakes, the lake state, I thought I heard something about great lakes, but calling anything around here great would be an insult to the word. As I sat back in our brand new fully loaded Escalade on the drive from the airport to one of the only decent hotels in this craphole, I thought up the perfect name for this state. The land of losers, so it’s very fitting that you all seem to be backing Petra Vasquez, because just like all of you lot, she will bear witness to the beginning of my ascent, and she will leave here tonight a loser.
TAURUS drops the mic and stretches his arms out, flexing and taunting the crowd, giving them a British two-finger salute, which definitely isn’t a peace sign.

Joanna the Jungle Girl vs. BioCyde
"She's A Genius" by Jet erupts over the sound system, a chorus of boos nearly drowning out the few scattered cheers for the former BWF World Champion. Nessa Wall appears at the top of the ramp, that devilish smirk on her lips as she takes in the crowd's reaction. Slowly, she saunters to the ring and takes her time up the ring steps, wiping her feet on the apron before stepping through the ropes. She turns around, letting everyone see the bedazzled crown on the back of her jacket. She waits out the boo birds as her music fades before lifting a microphone to her lips.
Nessa Wall: Oh, I know what you're thinking… 'why, oh why is the legendary Nessa Wall coming out here to grace our ears with her dulcet tones when she has that super important match to get ready for tonight'? You're right, of course. It's been a minute since I had a tag team match, after all. And we'll not waste time reminding the bottom feeding trolls that I've won several tag team titles in my career – not as though I'm new to the concept of teamwork, especially when I have someone talented in my corner.
The crowd boos, predictably and Nessa rolls her eyes.
Nessa Wall: Clearly not out here right now to talk about that. You'll see my hand raised in victory soon enough. No, I have something far more pressing to discuss, like that upcoming match at Happenstance against Johnny—
The crowd erupts at the mere mention of Maverick's name. Nessa, ever the professional, waits it out but she doesn't look pleased.
Nessa Wall: I'm sure I don't have to remind you that my team won, which means I get to pick the stipulation. I thought long and hard about the sort of match that favours yours truly, the sort where I'm not going to be at a disadvantage against a larger…
She pauses, looking sheepish.
Nessa Wall: Oops, sorry, Johnny. You look great, really. Not flabby at all and you're certainly not missing a step out there at all.
She winks at the camera.
Nessa Wall: Anyhow, enough about our fearless 'champion' and more about how his days at the top are numbered. My track record in these is well known… haven't lost one yet. I've made my choice, Johnny. At Happenstance, we're going to have a LADDER MATCH!
The crowd erupts and Nessa smirks, dropping the microphone. She rolls out of the ring without a further word, leaving an excited and hyped crowd behind.
