Headlines
We got a shot backstage of Lacy Nelson sitting in her locker room, a TV having been set up so that she could keep an eye on the show as she had interest in the next bout. She was already all set in her gear so she could watch. The CaliPRO Championship sat in her lap as she had her hands on the faceplate so she could hold her phone and text. She popped her head up as she caught the camera and Kevin Olson stepping into the room.
Kevin Olson: Lacy, just a moment of your time?
Lacy Nelson: Sure thing.
Kevin Olson:Tonight you have an opportunity to become a double champion within the UWA and to become the first three-time World Champion in Empire Wrestling. Can you just give us your thoughts?
Lacy took a moment and adjusted on the bench she was sitting on.
Lacy Nelson: It’s a huge moment! I’ve never really been one to take in the moment as much as I probably should but even I know how big this match is. I won’t say that I’ve been on a roll as of late but right now I’m pretty much at the top of my game.
Lacy smiles as she pats the CaliPRO Championship.
Lacy Nelson: There’s four bad ass competitors in this match tonight but the headline will read “Lacy Nelson. First ever 3-time EW World Champion”. It doesn’t matter if it’s a superkick on Johnny, the Headline on Dave, or the Byline on Casey, I’m walking out champion. Now, if you’ll excuse me I’m dying to watch this match.
