Keeping a Close Eye
Somewhere within the EW Warehouse, we see The BBs. Brighton begins to speak.
Brighton Fischer: Two weekth ago wath e--
Bailey nudges Brighton with her elbow.
Bayley Mayhew: Mouthguard.
Brighton removes her mouthguard and tries again.
Brighton Fischer: Two weeks ago was exactly what we needed. After a year of being gone, we come back and defeat two credible, tough opponents.
Bayley Mayhew: That’s right, and if you take in consideration that Brighton has really only had a handful of matches to her name in total, being able to make a former champion in BWF tap out, that just goes to show that while yeah we might act silly sometimes, we’re not to be taken lightly within the confines of the ropes.
Brighton Fischer: That’s due in part by our mentors: Caitlin Shay and Zoey Mathews-Mitchell. While we’re calling ourselves The BBs, we’re still very much members of The Grrrls. It’s only a matter of time before they become CaliPRO Tag Team Champions, and we’re looking to do the same here.
Bayley Mayhew: We’re quite aware of the controversy surrounding the EW Tag Team Championships. We’ve got nothing against the Social Elite, in fact, I agree with them that they should have a rematch for the titles.
Brighton Fischer: I can’t argue that, but, if they aren’t going to get one, who are we to turn away a potential opportunity that would benefit us?
Bayley Mayhew: And we get that one match back isn’t necessarily enough to catapult us into contention, so if we have to keep fighting, we’ll do just that.
Brighton Fischer: So 323, Social Elite, The Crew, Dishonor, whomever may be champions when our time comes, just know that we’re watching very closely.
Bailey holds her hands up to her eyes as if she’s looking through binoculars, before the scene fades out.
