Hype #78 is set to be one of the most action packed episodes in quite some time!
Last week we were shocked with the Empire Wrestling debut of Johnny Maverick! He made it pretty clear in the ring he's here for business and online he called his shot. Johnny Maverick, World Champion. His first step towards a title shot will go through Alicia Monroe, the World Champion's sister. Monroe versus Johnny Maverick. Can you dig it?
The undefeated Danny Rose watched the number one contender to his National Championship compete last week and this week she'll watch him as they get closer to their title match on the 8/7 Hype. Harper Blake is believes she's up to the challenge and wants to send a message by giving him his first loss. This match is also a Championship Qualifier and if Harper wins. she'll earn a title shot.
Lacy Nelson returns to the ring for the first time since Next Level: Victorem and will take on former National Champion, Kamila Rose. Rose is looking to begin her climb back to "her" championship and faces a tough test against a former World Champion.
Kayla Taylor is tired of losing. She wants to send a message in a big way and she'll have a chance as she takes on, for the first time in singles competition in Empire Wrestling, Nessa Wall. The newest holder of the Victorem Contract was set to speak to the fans but she'll make her singles debut in EW!
The Primetime Champion, Marilyn Lee Cross, is still undefeated in her reign as Primetime Champion and will face another current champion, Miguel Perez. The Tag Team Champion will go solo with Alejandro Torres missing the event and he'll look to knock off one of the best champions in Empire Wrestling history.
Speaking of former champions... a former World Champion is in action as Outlaw is set to take on former Extreme Champion, Tia Santos. We haven't seen Santos since her tumble from the top to the outside and through a flaming table where she ended up losing her title in a triple threat match. Santos is still un-pinned in singles action. With Manic lurking around the corner, will Santos have to look over her shoulder?
Dishonor is looking to begin the climb up the tag team ranks to face new champions the 323 and sent a message by attacking the Social Elite on behalf of Sara Logan. They'll have their hands full as Brighton Fischer and Bailey Mayhew, the BBs, make their triumphant return to Empire Wrestling!
It'll be a full night as we also expect to hear from the World Champion, Casey Grey!
