1) If you need to contact me, I'd prefer you do so on this forum. I have been alert to my Twitter DMs, but I have missed Twitter DMs in the past, and I will likely miss more in the future.
2) CaliPRO is mostly angle-based. This means storylines and outcomes are primarily determined by my discretion and ideas. That said, your input helps. If you put over CaliPRO on Twitter, your chances of having a prominent storyline are higher. This means tweeting about your matches, opponents, etc. This also applies to any in-character mediums on this forum.
3) Segments aren’t mandatory, but I do encourage you to submit your own segments. Ultimately, you know your own character better than I do. You can also shoot me ideas for a segment for me to write. Do not use other people’s characters in a segment unless you have collaborated on it together and I have confirmation from all parties. All CaliPRO interviewers are available to use without permission, that’s their job after all. If you do write your own segments, it’s wise to submit your idea to me first in the event I veto it. I may also edit some smaller details in a segment pending on the circumstance. I don’t mind the mentioning of current real-life events, but the mentioning of any real-life wrestling promotions or wrestlers is prohibited. Segments should be in by 12pm ET on the day of the show.
4) If you’re active on Twitter, but not tweeting at all about your happenings in CaliPRO, then your character is subject to put over others, and ultimately released. If you don’t show interest here, why should I? This also applies if you vanish completely.
5) If you need to take a leave of absence, let me know. That way I can properly write your character out. We all need a break sometimes, I get it.
6) If you are unhappy with how your character is portrayed, let’s talk it out. Sometimes I miss the mark on how a character would act, I am only one person after all. If you feel like your character is stagnant, let’s talk ideas to freshen things up. I’m one person who can only think of a certain amount of ideas at a time, which is why I encourage your own segments and input to give me ideas I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise.
7) Have fun. At the end of the day, this is a game. Sometimes things get taken too seriously. Let’s all just have a good time.
Welcome to beautiful Southern California, and welcome to UWA-CaliPRO!
CaliPRO is the newest branch of the UWA headquartered in Los Angeles, California. CaliPRO will be running shows primarily out of the LA area, in smaller sporting and event venues in front of a limited crowd of fully vaccinated fans.
CaliPRO’s primary program is called Hustle, and airs bi-weekly on FITE for free. CaliPRO will have around 6 PPVs a year, also available through FITE.
CaliPRO currently has three championships: The CaliPRO Championship, the CaliPRO Tag Team Championship, and the CaliPRO Network Championship. The CaliPRO Network Championship will be defended on every show aired on FITE.
CaliPRO does not do house shows. Hustle is it.
CaliPRO’s headquarters includes a gym and ring for wrestlers to train with. It’s no EW Warehouse, but it’ll do. This facility is often referred to as HQ.
Sam De Santa is CaliPRO’s General Manager. She is currently responsible for all talent scouting, contracts, and match-making. Lead Interviewer Gina Furlow is responsible for running CaliPRO’s Twitter account.
While most of CaliPRO’s staff is from California, competitors from all around the world are welcome in CaliPRO, so long as they can find their own living situations if they choose to move to LA. CaliPRO will cover some travel expenses for those who elect to travel.
